The feet are too large, cut it by almost half and it should be fine.

Correct, I am in a multiple Sangheili chats on Kik, including my own.

Sorry to dissapoint, the website had to be canceled everyone…

Hmm, yes the eyes are Halo 3, the mandibles are a mix of 3 and 4/5 and the head is a complete Halo 4/5 design, except for the little bumps/horns that run along the sides of the Elite head in 4 and 5.

The eyes are beautiful, my favorite part.

We’ve tried for 2 games now. If they’re not in Halo 6, I’m not interested. 343i knows we want this.

Somebody probably found it in the code and got it working in game.

wow this is the longest tread encounter, anyways as long as arbiter is playable I’m find with that. miss playing as him.

> So it seems that Sangheili will indeed not be playable in Halo 4 Matchmaking due to a ‘canonical matchmaking experience’. I will refrain from stating my opinion on the idea of attempting to make Matchmaking canonical, but the opportunity to have Elites playable is still not forever erased. There is no doubt that this thread has been noticed by at least a few 343 Industries employees. It is the top thread in the Halo 4 Forum, and was mentioned in one of the Q&A Updates. Unfortunately, we have lost the first battle. Elites will not be playable in Multiplayer on the original Halo 4 shipping disc. However there is still time for 343 Industries to listen to their fans.
>
> It may be possible to include elite player models in future Downloadable Content, depending on the layout of the Halo 4 engine. If this is not possible, do not lose faith. If 343 Industries wants to be known as one of the few developers that listens to their fans, they will most certainly incorporate elites as playable characters in Halo 5 & 6. With this being the most popular thread on this forum and holding that title, it seems to be one favor that the fans are wishing to see fulfilled. I comprehend that 343 Industries wanted to make this “their Halo” and not “Bungie’s Halo”, and I respect that philosophy, but this does not mean that all core elements should be pushed to the wayside. This is one core element of Halo Matchmaking that should never be pushed to the wayside.

> Jaime Griesemer: “I’d much rather experiment and do something surprising, and not have everybody appreciate it, than just turn the crank and do another alien war movie with a space marine” This is a quote from Jamie Griesemer regarding the criticism that the Arbiter’s missions in Halo 2 received. So 343 Industries wisely took the information from the fans about this and created the “Spartan Identity” for Halo 4. Unfortunately the Sangheili population has grown much larger since Halo 2. My identity in Halo, and many others, is an elite. It is not going to be a pleasant experience having to change my identity for Halo 4, but if we stick it out, we may be rewarded.

> It is no doubt the Elite community within Halo is small, but having been involved with it for 6 and half years now, I am astounded at it’s growth. As more Halo media like The Return, Halo: Cole Protocol, and Halo: Glasslands makes it’s way to the gamer, the more compelled the gamer is to prefer playing as an Elite over a Spartan. Especially when the media makes reference to things found on a game level, such as Thel 'Vadam or the Revenant. Although that sounds like a very basic and broad way to explain this, after speaking with the populous of newly converted “Elite players”, this is the general reason I get for this exponential growth. To make this point, I ask you to look around, and in nearly every thread you will see at least one or two users with Elite or Covenant avatars.
>
> 343i, I would like you to recognize that we are here collectively, and we deserve the respect and catered opinions just as much as the Spartan fanbase. Although extreme, I know players who actually will not buy Halo 4 if they are not available in Matchmaking, and I cannot say I blame them. What would Halo be without Covenant Weapons/Vehicles as well? Energy Swords, Needlers, and Wraiths are all iconic symbols of what makes Halo, Halo.
>
> The limitations of playing as an Elite in Halo Reach are indeed disheartening. Going back to the Halo 3 method of playing as an elite during regular Matchmaking can be the solution. Not only does that add to the customization, but it can also be explained canonically. I understand that 343i is in the process of delivering a canonical explanation for the Red and Blue Spartans fighting each other. The relationship between Humans and Sangheili can be used to add Elites into this mix. Since the UNSC and the Sangheili are allied, having them use human weapons is anything but non-canon. Or if you would like to take the reverse side of the coin, ONI is supplying the Servants of Abiding Truth with weaponry, which is human as well. This can easily be weaved into the plot without creating a mess.
>
> I understand the game is very far into the development stage, I do not know for sure, but judging by the newest ViDoc, I believe it isn’t too late to give the Elite fanbase a voice. We’re here, we shouldn’t be neglected, and if we are, I can assure you that 343i will lose a great deal of supporters.

A mighty voice indeed!

Why don’t you all join the Sangheili Accord?
The Accord is a community that focuses on bringing Sangheili communities back together again. I Joined a few months ago and I don’t regret it. I recommend that you do. If you are interested, speak to Sul Incasune and tell him I sent you.

I sense another halo info drought coming on, seeing how the forums and especially this thread having less activity than we once had. Just hold fast and wait this out, don’t let this thread be forgotten! Anyways what do you think 343 will do with the Banished and the Swords of Sanghelios if they are in halo 6 since both their color schemes are based around red.

I’m afraid it’s going to get very quiet until E3, but don’t worry we won’t forget this thread, i guarantee once a sneak preview for halo 6 appears this thread will explode.

As for the banished and SoS I think if they do appear in halo 6 we will mostly be fighting brutes with elites as allies ( once the elites in the banished see the arbiter and the SoS, who’s to say they won’t hightail and join?)The shipmaster (can’t remember his name) truly cares for his elites and they are in constant danger with the banished lets hope the arbiter throws them a lifeline. ( I’m done with killing elites, let me at those brute ******)

I’m afraid i answered your question with another question.
My opinion if it follows my theory and we will be fighting brutes they may stick with the colour red but go much darker while the elites will be on the light side.

It has been stated that Shipmaster Let 'Volir does not wish to side with the Swords of Sanghelios nor the Reformed Covenant. So, that would eliminate the concept of distinguishing the Banished as only Jiralhanae on the battlefield.

The situation that both of the factions color schemes are red can be solved as the Swords of Sanghelios ranks tend to have brick plus white color schemes while the Banished Sangheili Ranks usually just have crimson. Also, the Standard Combat Harness and Standard Storm Harness used by the SoS are easily distinguishable from the Standard Banished Harness, at least in my opinion.

I’m not sure if you considered vehicles an issue or not with them both using red, but I think you can tell which vehicles are Banished and which vehicles aren’t.

Other then the horendus feet I like it just move the mandibles forward like they’re suposed to be and slap on the beautyfull H3 elite armor and Im good. Oh and also make sure that when (if it will be implemented) the elites blink, they do it side ways like in H2-H3 Im sick of seeing them blink like humans.

Believe it or not, elites had the same hit boxes in halo 3 as spartans, but there was a psychological issue as people were thinking they were hitting certain spots, when they weren’t because they followed the model and not the hitbox, so it was weird.
So keep it in for un-ranked play, but only keep in spartans for ranked play.
Hell have a elite only gametype.

I think with Halo 6 it would be the right time to make Elites playable both in Campaign and Multiplayer. There just has to be something new after Halo 5,there we have soo much armors, helmets etc. for Spartans that it wouldnt be fun to have to collect them all over again, and Elites can bring a lot of new customization options. And why not have Grunts and Jackals also be playable, that could be so much fun!

The Bloodline I am in, originated from Reach, tried to go on Halo 5 to find no playable Sangheili and thus only I out of about 15 of us play it. Only to that fact (and others but that is for a different topic). We all want to move to Halo 6 especially if Halo Reach servers close for good, but we will only join if there are playable Sangheili. This has been a core part of our heritage and personally I like being different, taller and scarier than others. Let’s just hope and pray!
