Oh, I did not know about the clonewars issue haha, well, nice to see that we are on the same page!
I feel we’re soon gonna wait silently for a while once Halo 5 is done with updates. (It’s most likely this year) All we have hope for is E3, then maybe, news will be rolling about Halo 6, playable elites, etc…
It was sad to see MCC left in a crippled state without disability. Yeah we have HW2 now, but how long is that gonna last? A year, maybe, then we’re back without a filler until Halo 6 in possible 2018/2019.

I don’t see why you’d want them to gate things into dlc/exclusives.
id also rather they have items unlock by achievements over playtime, which is all the SR stands for. Much more of that “I did something for this” kind of feeling when you do an objective to unlock something rather than just grinding playtime. I’d be sick if I forced myself to the highest Spartan rank for an armor/skin, especially if the game plays bad.

Preorder bonuses are unwanted, and having the Arbiter’s armor is something that wouldn’t happen since Bungie and 343 have always taken measures to make sure that players can never look exactly like a campaign character (not entirely sure why, but that’s the way it is.) I could see them allowing us to use the Arbiter’s armor from Halo 2/3, but they wouldn’t allow us to use his new armor.

Those are awesome.
For me, just give me my good ol’ shark fins, and I’ll be good.
I personally would love it if Halo 6 reintroduced the full armour customisation that we saw in Halo Reach. The elites were restricted to armour sets but imagine in depth elite armour customisation like how Bungie had it for the Spartans. I’d love to see helmets, torso pieces, shoulder pieces, wrist pieces, hip pieces, thigh pieces, lower leg, hand armour, undersuit customisation! Hell, throw in the option to remove a mandible or two and we can all look as badass as Rtas 'Vadum.

Given the occasional introduction of Covy slayer in halo 5, I could see future games allowing playable elites in arena modes through a permanent Covy slayer playlist where everyone would be elites. Other than that, assuming warzone does return, both Spartans and elites could be playable there.
