I think adding Sangheili females would be rather strange considering it would be an odd addition and there isn’t much talk about. Considering that we mainly see the Sangheili males as warriors, I hope the female side of their race isn’t ever added into a Halo videogame.

In halo 5 you can hear one talking to you over the comms. Arbiter felt it was right to start hiring women to his cause.

Why not? There are female Spartans and female Sangheili being recruted into the Swords is lore. The only thing they would have to do is make the female design smaller in build and shorter then the male ( alot easier said then done of course). And if they don’t want to mess with the player model, 343i could just make it so you could switch between male and female voices ( both genders look that similer). I don’t know how this would effect combat harnesses, maybe change with the voice to match the gender you choose ( gives more verity).

Good point. I guess what I was mostly worried about is how a large difference in stature/how the character looks would make the character play differently. This could be good in a campaign, but disastrous in multiplayer.
I really want playable elites back. I’ve recently been playing Halo Reach a lot more and like the Elites. Mostly only playable in Invasion tho.
What would make me choose displaying my elite over my Spartan is full customization for my elite.

I would prefer to have playable male and female Sangheili in all game modes,( but can settle for social, campain, and customs if I must). Glad your not completely against the idea anymore.
I don’t know if someone has alreadt said this, but im not voing through over 816 pgs of posts. It would be in 343 industries best intrest to add back elites to Halo 6 or make a spinoff featuring multiplayer with elites. It would most likely bring back old players, which would mean more money, which would mean morn money for development, which would result in (hopefully) a better game. Also, more customization for elites would be great, (please correct me if im wrong) as in reach we only had sets of armour and not be able to mix and match.
Tbh at this point all I’m hoping for is the return of elites Halo reach style where you choose from armor sets and they would only be playable in social arena or warzone.
This is possible, and people who loved playing as elites have been neglected for so long it seems that it’s not being seen as an issue anymore which is sad.

Reach style Elites are cool, we actually have a list of different phenotypes we we’re hopeing for to see. That’s floating around the thread somewhere.

Wonder if Ske7ch has mentioned this to anyone. Its not as though he hasn’t taken interest in what we talk about here. He was a big help in the black undersuit victory now if only we could win the front on the elites.
Story wise this seriously needs to be a thing. If anyone can fight back against the created it’ll be the combination of SoS and UNSC. (Banished are probably screwed)

I hope that if 343 does bring them back, they don’t go the Halo Reach route and make it physically impossible to play as them in normal gamemodes, with the only exception being forge and certain custom games. I remember the agony of playing infection in reach and having the majority of maps built only to support the Spartan, which caused players who played as Elites to either crouch most of the time (taking away their ability to run) or made it impossible to fit through certain doorway, and thus would have to change into a spartan, just to play the map properly. This happened because the Spartan was all you could play as through most of the game, so most forgers focused on building maps with the Spartans in mind rather than the Elites. It seems like the only maps that worked with Elites, were the few that had the Elite being the center focus of the gamemode.
Sorry I’ve been gone a while, life you know. Anyway, sometime last year I established the Sangheili Rebellion, a cause dedicated to bringing back playable Elites to Halo multiplayer. Slowly but surely, it has grown. A website has been made by fellow Sangheili Rebel Xrec0nDer4n9edX recently, and the site will continue to be updated as time moves along. Currently I have plans to make a couple videos on the topic of playable Elites on my personal YouTube channel and on the Sangheili Rebellion channel as well. No ETA on when though (given my life and job), but I hope to do so as soon as I can. Currently the Sangheili Rebellion on Twitter has 100 followers, some of them including Covenant Canon, MetalHeadSpartan, Wangtime, ForgeHub, Rythaze and even Late Night Gaming. We’ve made some progress, but we still got a long way to go.
If you want to support us and/or see the Sangheili Rebellion Twitter, find us @SangheiliRebels. If you are interested in the Sangheili Rebellion website, you’ll find the link to it on our Twitter. I would post it here, but I am unsure if the moderators would approve of that, so at least you’ll know how to find and get to it. Thanks to everyone who read this post, and remember, keep the dream alive

Don’t worry we’re keeping that ex covenant dream alive that’s why we post about them on any and all things 343 puts out there. Some of the top comments on 343s Youtube are about bringing them back. Come next q&a some one is bound to ask about them. Its not like we haven’t asked them about this very thing nearly if not every time.
This thread is the same age as a kindergardener for a reason.

Its like trying to get EA to make the next star wars battle front have the clone wars in it.
Everyone wants it, but there’s a certain silence from the devs as too if it will be there or not.

The thing is, we’ve had playable elites in 3 games, 4 if you count H2A. Playable elites should never have been removed.
