I run a community of Sangheili on Xbox live, I hope at least most of you are interested.
Just look me up on Xbox live and join Halo Sangheili only club, request an invitation and I will accept as soon as possible.
We have very popular former and current Sangheili fleet leaders in our midst, all who are trying their very best to help our community prosper.
With your help in gathering all of your followers, we will be great again.
Consider this an opportunity to pledge yourself.
I hope you all consider, Mrovo’ Volkromea out.

As you can imagine, Sangheili groups are much more difficult to recruit because of how spread out and shut off we are. That is the exact reason I came to this site, to speak to all of you.

You know you could just edit your post.

No, he is essentially correct. Bungie never said the subspecies/phenotype changed between games and it was simply accepted that the art style changed. They were the same Elites.

Would have, but what I said has nothing to do with the post.

I’m not talking about just the games.

In the next Halo game, I think we should get the option to change which subspecies we are if Sangheili return to multiplayer. So if someone is a fan of the Halo 2 Anniversary design, or the Halo 4-5 design. They can play as either one.

I know it would require more man power, but look at this tho! Its a clear demand from the fans, and if they just bring them back stale, it’ll be alright, but we can all dream right? Its a gigantic want, people like me have voiced, and if they see it to their priorities, than they might want to surprise us with it’s inclusion! Add a great customization option, allowing not only armour customization, but phenotype customization, it would be awesome, and its only something that I’d like to look forward to, if they plan to excite us with something more than what we asked for, you know?

I doubt they will care. To me it seems like 343 only pleases the fans they want to please. As for me, I am done. These forums aren’t gonna do jack to further anything on this subject.

Clearly you have not been on this thread for long, which is evident through the fact that not only was this your first post on this thread (at least on the account you’re using), but also through the fact that it has been stated before that many 343 employees want to bring back playable Sangheili. Also, Halo 2 Anniversary’s multiplayer, which came out between the creation of this thread and now, included playable Sangheili. This means they have acknowledged this side of the community after noticing us.

Nothing outside of the games involved any variations of Elites either until 343 came along.

Incorrect. Go to this post. You will see there are three images for “Phenotype 4”. The first two are from Halo Legends: Origins 1. The third image is from The Halo Graphic Novel story Second Sunrise Over New Mombasa. This was released on July 19, 2006, making it within the time period that Bungie was in charge of Halo. Halo Legends came out four years later, displaying an obvious consistency with this subspecies outside of the games.
The Could Add Elites back into H6 as playable Characters in Multiplayer, as HW2 will impact heavily into H6, 343 could add in Elites, then if you chose you wanted to play as them, you’d be under the Banner of the Banished, Spartans as UNSC [Obviously], hell maybe even add in Forerunners, Diadact Like Armor Variants, with lots of customisation options for each Character, everyone wins [Only reason I say this, is as I do think the Banished will play a role in H6, so why not act on this opportunity and add Elites back into Multiplayer]

Then why is it that they still chose to leave them out of the main game series? And the only reason they are in the MCC is because they are bungie games and were there from the start and taking them away from the anniversary suite would have been a dumb move. I may not have experience in this thread but I will still harbor that hatred for 343 for taking them away with the start of Halo 4. Until they are confirmed to return I will not change my feelings about that, I am a sangheili through and through and I love to fight along side our spartan allies.

We all love the Sangheili here, but I don’t hate 343. They try their best. If I’m correctly informed, Microsoft had specifically told 343 NOT to focus on playable Sangheili and more on competitive gameplay. I hate that they did that, but I still don’t hate Microsoft.

Like I have once said the people who play competitively and esports should not be taken as seriously as they are. There are a lot more people who play halo just to have a good time, not to get all uber mlg godmode 1080 no scope.

What of h4? Had no competitive bone to it, and if you look at the pro scene you’ll see they aren’t even happy with how 343/Microsoft handled it. I just can’t see any reason why or how Esports effects the inclusion/exclusion of playable elites among many other things people blame Esports for.

dont see a reason why, what would you do for a competitive halo if you ran it?

I would have left everything the way it was when it was released and tweak the weapon placement around a little bit and what weapons spawn in a competitive game and leave everything else that has nothing to do with it alone. Playable elites as an example, if you need to be a spartan for say HCS then just set up a spartan only game mode and let everyone else who plays the game just to have a good time have their stuff.

Also, Halo 2 Anniversary’s multiplayer, which came out between the creation of this thread and now, included playable Sangheili. This means they have acknowledged this side of the community after noticing us.

Indeed, but I do. What Microsoft says goes, and it’s that exact reason that Sangheili aren’t playable and are being shown less and less respect as the series goes on. I love the Halo universe, and I care about the Sangheili just as much as all of you. I understand now that it’s not so much 343’s fault, but more Microsoft. Microsoft tells them what to do, and how to do it, I for one despise Microsoft because of this.
The word you hear the most in Halo 5 Guardians is spartan.
Thanks spartan
Spartans?
I need help spartan
What the h*** are Spartans doing here?
Omg a spartan!
Spartans move!
On your feet spartan
Thanks for the help spartan
I know who you are spartan
Spartan, spartan, spartan!
It’s clear to me that these ‘spartans’ are both 343’s and Microsofts main focus.
I also agree that if it was up to 343, they would have taken Elites out of Halo 2 anniversary, guaranteed. The only reason they were in it is because it was a Remaster, and it was previously Bungies game.
