The Sangheili community has as much right to be represented in the games as the Spartan community. So, like Warthog, I am curious about you reasoning. (And the so called balancing issuse are not a good reason, the game is about fun not how well you can do in M.P.)

But if there are any flaws in the system we create or if there is any other system anyone else has, please post it, because I’d love to see the best way to add them! In fact! Anyone reading, if you ever have any ideas about that, please say so, or even for cosmetic, or even aiming at what they could add to elites if they are added back, because I don’t wanna leave out any good info!

I mean, ground pound kills Spartans anyway, why not use an aged Reach tactic that Elites always had! Miniature energy swords in their wrists! The pound would propel much faster but there is no other damage, and you have to suffer a short killing animation where it would look something like Every Halo Reach Assassination - YouTube 5:51

> > > > > > What about something similar? A death from adove sort of deal. when ever your in an elevated position you have a choice to use it. You hit whatever button(s) and you target your adversary, your character activaits the energy daggers (may take a second)on their arm and jumps down stabbing the first enemy you targeted. Then after you dispose of them you can continue on, using your superior speed and agility to quickly close the gap between you and other enemies. once you reach them you simply hit the melee button to stab them. However the energy daggers die quickly, so you are limited to close targets and you slow back down to a more natural pace once they die. you only see this in first person (no special animation, just shows first person view of you stabbing them in the chest or back) and there is a short time before you can use it again. The trade offs between this and ground pound are you move much faster and only target one enemy at a time, where as with ground pound your a bit slow but can take out or stun many enemies with one strike. And for the spartans, this could be something they could choose to have, considering the alliance with the Swords. What do you and Chocolate think?

> > > > > Oh really it’d be fabulous and the option bound render is good but it was just an idea and I’m glad you ran with it! While satisfying the game mechanic, I really think that it suited the Spartans that existed now, and it was a welcome mechanic to them, but I’m still just not sure if I can see an Elite doing it! That stabbing idea was the first thing I got and I’m not really ready to step on with it along with what I can imagine are elites taken out of Halo 5’s scenery. I am on the front however that if they would, these mechanics would be compensated somehow, just by changing up the animations a bit! I know I’m probably just being cynical on the fact that an elite would look weird doing it, and honestly, it might look cool, but with their statue, I’d imagine it’d be a whole different story! I thought however that maybe, were it to happen, lore would be drawn and the Elites would be given specific and engineered thrusters that would determine their ability to act just as Spartans would in the simulations. Running with that idea, I wouldn’t mind to run with Halo 5’s first person thruster, as well as Halo Reach’s evade that didn’t put you in third person when you used it, you know? It’d work just like that, and the only strange part is, the distance in which the Thruster “thrusts” is decently short, and I don’t know about you, but an elite rolling that distance would probably look more akin to a havel rock, fat rolling in Dark Souls! Reach’s armour abilities weren’t restrictive on that sort and allowed them to go that distance because it was an armour ability. Here however, I’m just not sure. You know what I would love though, An armour mod that would somehow make “Evade” useful in Warzone, hahahaha!

> Dude! Dude Dude Dude! I have resisted those ideas from my mind because I know that anything that isn’t balanced will “ruin everything” but I have to say that things like this should not be thrown in the trash, because they are nice ideas! They give me an awesome Overwatch vibe that many have given me from the roles that oddly fit really nice together, from the covenant, to the prometheans, to the UNSC, things like Grunts, Jackals, and Hunters being playable (here me out on this one) with that sort of scenic vibe to them, and as much as I agreed with the fact that we shouldn’t make it “Halowatch”, its nice to think about, for any sake.
> Elites though, they have a fitting and they deserve to be here, and there is no excuse having lasted 3 games with them! Ways to incorporate them into this environment could be scarce but I like anything to graze thought, energy blade is a beautiful idea, if, and hear me out again, they are like energy swords, that would have that special tactic that Elites back in Reach used! They were smaller and they appeared in both hands. But maybe Technology has spurted a little, and I know it hasn’t because this is a Warzone simulator, but were it so easy! One stab from either hand, removing the sword from either hand, and each jab would have be equivalent to a shield break, and the basic part of it, is that this would speed up the Elites melee speed, including these small energy blades, and even though that system would seem complicated, it would just be complementing the melee system, in it that it could be used to take out certain targets rather than entire teams.
> OR, having a time based one, like you said, that would run it for that amount of time, executable against as many targets within that timeframe!
> It could be thrown around many different ways, and its all to be creative right? To have an edge that would sound cool, look cool, and play balanced, without making them look derpy with that Ground pound, which I do think would look weird on the elite part! balancing them with certain other abilities would be pretty nice, but this is only a thought, if anyone else has an idea, post it! Love to see any!

> (Also sorry I had to delete your post man! I write too much! XD)
All is good. I like the ideas. In the end I am pritty open minded, I will be happy as long as the game is fun, involves everyone, and has the good story halo is knowen for, as well as playable elites. many eather hate or love the abilities, I’m in the middle.
