Fall damage is intresting, the only reason I wouldn’t want it in the game is because it takes away from some of the fun stuff you can do in the gamemodes, thus I say make it an optional thing to have on or off.

From what i remember it was customizable in reach, it seems that reach had alot of features we want back that 343 never moved across, its kind of a don’t fix what aint broken moment here.
you have the stabilisation jets to slow you down if you fall too fast so it could be added.
but as i said i was just nitpicking when i said that, its not a massive thing thats needed.

Sounds good if we get to keep sprint though. Maybe both social and ranked h3 mechanics playlists would be good to tack on there

That’s okay by me, the more options the better.

I was wondering, if they bring playable Sangheili back into the game and we can play as Arbiter in campaign again, who would you want to see in his squad? ( I know that some do not like the new squad mechanics, just curious to see what others ideal Sangheili squad would be.) I would like to see Usze, N’tho, and R’tas return to the games, kind of a throw back to halo 3.

Also Tul 'Juran could be an interesting candidate.

I would like to see that too. Good way to involve more female Sangheili characters in the game. After all, 343i did say they wanted to add more for female fans.

The thing is honestly it is not just 343 to blame, they can try, but if Microsoft does not allow them enough time, it simply can not happen. Perhaps playable elites are not number 1 on their to do list, I think they should be but whatever, well then if they simply are given enough time, they will reach playable elites on the to do list. Playable elites for me personally is what set Halo apart from other similar games, Halo to me now seems to much like Call of Duty with shields. Elites really added something to the game, with the mode invasion for example which was a very popular game mode that SHOULD return.
>
> I’m curious to see how Invasion would fit back into the way that Halo is headed. Due to the change in the gameplay and whatnot. Which a big factor for keeping everything balanced is gameplay, this would also be applied to playable Sangheili.

The balancing issue will never cease though! I still think the most safe way to go is to make playable elites balanced in terms of Hitbox in arena, maybe featuring the elites from classic Halo Games, and the bigger one’s as an option for Warzone, or Custom Games, invasion 2.0, Elite Slayer, and what not, as those can ignore the factor of hitbox! Elites may be bigger and easier to shoot, but no! I have more power man, I don’t care if I’m easier to kill!
Not even the head size would really be an issue, considering the fact that They could easily implement Reach’s tall and elegant design as an option, which would be able to “reskin” as the different species of Elites in Halo 4 and 5, cause I don’t wanna scrap those!
But that’s the safe way, and probably the hardest way to implement it. If they do that however, forever will my faith be there! Cause that right there tells me they’re listening!

Let’s not forget the other Phenotypes.

I have to agree. Comp players tend have part in what makes this community toxic with that attitude. (Not all of them, but some of them)

That being said I like this idea. I’ve been trying to a suggest something like this for along time now. If anything, I thing this is the bets solution. Add this with Halo 5’s forge and more and I think lots of people will have fun.

i miss being a dino bring back arby

As do I, But the solutions some of us provided should hopefully be considered.

Hey
Low
Three

Halo 3.

HALO #3.

Just copy Halo 3 for the Elites, you can bring back Invasion this way and gameplay wouldn’t be uneven [it was slightly in Reach due to Elites being able to jump higher and move faster, but were bigger targets in return]

I’m hoping for some halo 6 teasers at E3 this year,
fingers crossed they might mention elites

If not in Halo 6, forget about them in a main title ever again.

Considering the Jan-Feb Season emblem looks like an Elite head (also noted with the last community update), 343 knows Elites are a key element to the community. Whether or not they will be playable later on, is up to the MP team.

Being a bad*** supersoldier is cool enough already, but being a scary alien?

Hell yeah! I don’t care if I happen to look like one ugly mother****** (get the reference?) who happens to be a huge target, I just want to wreak havoc upon some poor Spartans as a mighty Elite!

Whatever gets you supporting the cause, I suppose.

Do any of you guys think 343 is going to implement playable elites in Halo 6?
I hope to see a Halo Reach type of playable elites

I don’t know if they will, but if they do, I’d like to see every phenotype playable.
