I hope Halo Online was nothing more than a test for Elites back in matchmaking in the main games. I dig the unfinished armor for them.

How are they supposed to? There’s no way they can update Halo 5 to add them, that’s too much work to do on a complete game’s engine. Unless they have another fps game coming out in 2017, it’s not going to be our year.

With DLC sort of slowing down this year, it would be feasible for them to add Elites in a massive update. I don’t really expect 343 to add anything as massive as Warzone Firefight in 2017 which makes it incredibly unlikely, and they’re more than likely already dedicating more and more resources to H6 over H5. But if they really wanted to (maybe to get playable Elites ready for H6?), they could double down on one big H5 update and get playable Elites out by the end of the year.

BTW this is a dumb post. The Elites live in peace on Sanghelios, there probably not going to be engaged in war anytime soon.
