The canon is that multiplayer is a training simulation is the infinity, which, to be honest, is the stupidest thing I ever heard (My 5 year old cousin came up with a better idea then that.) and therefore it “wouldn’t make sense to be an elite running around in a spartan 4 training program.”
Ofcourse the question could be asked, “If the UNSC and the Sangheili were allies, maybe there was an officer exchange program of some kind that allowed elites to be on the infinity?”
But one thing should give us hope, they said that since the time of the GI interview there were some changes story wise (or something along those lines) and maybe we could see elites in multiplayer, but I doubt it.
Our best hope now lies in populating populate halo 3, if we can get enough warriors to turn out for that we should leave an impression about ourselves.

I probabley wasn’t aware of that, but playing as elties is all I want. thats it.I’ll take it evan if they just make them playable in custom games only. for machinima reasons

Same, when I posted a few minutes ago about 343 not reading this forum because they didn’t put elites in a monitor told me I had “flawed logic”.
I guess we know what opinion they have of us.
As much as I want Elites in mp, I realize that it is a lost cause. You guys really think after all this turmoil that they even once glanced at this thread? This thread is 76 pages long but it took a few words to wipe it all out
I have never played as an Elite online, nor do I intend to do so. But cutting out Elites from MP does seem a little odd, yes it may be due to your new MP “Story” but it should at least allow you to play as an Elite If the player desires to do so. After all, 343, you are offering a lot more customisation than Reach, and adding Elites to the customisation options will be a way to improve the customisation further.

I think when they ent by flawed logic, he ment that you saying they never read the fourms.
I am bummed that Elites are being left out from multilayer, but I guess that is just how it is.
