It’s just a strait nostalgia trip back to halo 2. And for anyone who loves the lore of elites, or just being taller than yo spartan loving friend, it’s pretty neat to play as one.
Plus, with the new armor abilities, it could open up a lot of new possibilities for modified abilities (or not)

It has to do with in game identity and role playing for me.
It’s fun to play something other then generic super solder #945 ya know? It’s fun to explore new worlds through the eyes of an alien similar to humans.

The way I see it, whenever a non-human race is offered, I want it. Simply because I know what humanity is, it is far more interesting in a video game, which is a form of escapism, to escape even your own body, and become something completely different, even if all you will really see are your alien hands on a gun.
Hopefully this post won’t cause yet another Sangheili civil war but if the Swords of Sangheilos, the Banished and maybe the covenant are in halo 6 , who would you side yourself with? I side myself with the Swords of Sangheilos because I believe that the Arbiter and his peace treaty with humanity will be the best thing for our race, and I’m not even fond of humanity but peace and prosperity is what the Sangheili need and the Arbiters wisdom will bring us that peace…that and I’m not delusional believing in false gods and selling myself out to those savage mongrels.
I thought it would have been good to have the Battle of Sanghelios be from the eyes of the Arbiter instead of Locke.
- Arbiter level
= Slightly Better game

If they do, I want my sword have unlimited energy.

I would figure you would have an unlimited sword or at least a sword that you can get at least 25-50 hits with

That would be cool

I’d say the Banished, I find myself liking those who are extremely smart, capable of outsmarting all their opponents, making use of everything they’ve got. Atriox is just my kind of leader, so I gotta side with the Banished, despite how unhonorable that would be in the eyes of some.

Atriox is an incredibly intelligent Jiralhanae. The Banished seem to be an interesting new faction, so I’d like to know more about them

If you have a leader who can take 3 Spartan II’s and has that giant scarab and his cool hammer and robot arm. I would side with him. If it was him against Ripa’Moramme I think he would win.

The Covenant >>>
Wahsheetahteh rohneeahkeh, nohkoh wahnahkohroh neeoh-yohnoh sahgahkay!!!
Seeing the Sangheili armor design in Wars 2, gives me hope that will stay for Halo 6. Heck the Banished are probably just getting started. They would be a better replacement for the Storm anyways.

Maybe in a way they brought the Halo 2BR and Beam rifle to Halo 5

Maybe, hopefully though the brutes are the enemies, let’s just hope they get a good explanation.

The reason they still have that armor is because the Banish did not really associate with other factions in the post-war era, not because of a design choice from 343i. There’s canon to it. That armor will likely only stay within factions like the Banished, and not spread to other factions like Jul M’dama’s or Sali Nyon’s. There is lore to this, guys.

Lore comes in second to their artistic preference. That has been proven enough.
