Is playing as an Elite in MM really a make-or-break issue for you guys? I’m not hating on it, I just don’t understand why it would be as it really has no effect on gameplay.

Many people that play as an elite are in an elite clan. No elites in multiplayer will kill it for us.
in the game informer for halo 4 in a lil yellow caption box under a dmr it sez that elites will not be playable in multiplayer (and if not in multi maybe the entire game)
it is kinda a breaking point for me tho…i love halo and will still play the game…but i may end up staying in reach for a bit or going back to it just to play invasion may end up haveing to join and elite clan if elites are playable in custom only (altho i dont like playing with the same ppl over and over because then they learn all my tricks and sneeky playstyle)

Thanks a lot 343 Industries, you just ruined the rest of my -Yoinking!- year with your “now we have a reason for red spartans to fight blue spartans” multiplayer story -Yoink-. Its multiplayer not -Yoinking!- coop, it doesn’t need a story, it hardly needs to make sense, you -Yoinks!- were just too lazy to make an elite model with similar hit-boxes as spartans. Go -Yoink- yourselves, I knew Bungie made a terrible mistake handing you -Yoinks!- the rights to Halo.

its not because of gameplay changes, its the experience. the joy of knowing you are an alien, not a human in the game

No, we are still alive. 343 will never take the Sangheili away from us! As long as I still have my copies of Halo 2, Halo 3, and Reach. I’ll play as a Sangheili.
I should really play through Halo 2 again. The situation that the Sangheili were in during the campaign echoes what 343 has done to us.
The Great Schism has occurred and we will no longer follow the false “Prophets” that are 343. They defile are Lords’ (Bungie’s) creation for their own gain.
I’m sick that I ever bought Halo: Anniversary and that my money helped support our downfall!

Ok, i’ve just seen the Sangheili models…and i hope those are Covenant loyalists, not just ALL sangheili. Whats further, why would you need to change the Sangheili? Personaly, i think someone needs to start work on a BALANCED halo game, awesome things for both Sangheili and Spartans. Heck, maybe even marines for those who want to play UNSC but not as Spartans?
Let me know what you think, maybe we can rescue Halo yet.

I didn’t buy the remake of halo 1 (but somene forced me to play anyway) and i don’t intend to play nor buy halo 4.
