Well we need to post more often then.
It amazes me this was made before halo 4 was released and yet 343 practically doesn’t give a -Yoink-. But hey, more weapon skins will fix this problem right!?!?!

Well if we all start posting more they eventually will give a -Yoink-.
So we were all getting excited for getting near our 1000 page goal… well, as has been said before this thread currently is the biggest running thread though not the biggest. Apparently the largest thread ever is called YO, with the second biggest being called YO-YO. I recently discovered the YO-YO thread, it was 2093 pages long! Holy hell… just wait till we find the YO thread…
Brothers I think our goal to 1000 pages might not even convince 343… perhaps we should set a new goal… to reach 3408 pages!
While this may be the biggest running/unlocked thread on waypoint we are not the biggest ever… far from it… recently i discovered YO! And YO-YO! The biggest threads ever to exsist on waypoint… YO! Is 3407 pages! While YO-YO! Is 2093…
If we truly want playable elites to return in all there glory… I think we all need to step up our game! What do you guys think? Maybe they will finally take the ear plugs out if we get this to become the true biggest thread on all of waypoint? I think so!

As years go by I drift farther and farther from halo in general. I would love to play as an elite, but I can’t. Machinimas are kind of boring now, playable elites made many more things possible. In fact I have not watched any Halo machinima that was not RvB since Halo Reach. In my mind I love Halo to death, then I don’t play it because the Spartan gameplay is stale to me.

Exactly… it’s becoming boring and generic, and that’s not a good thing for halo. It needs its icing that sets it apart from other games back.

I have to say that I agree with you, when the newest CoD looks more Halo than Halo, you know that 343i is doing it wrong.
They couldn’t even bother giving us Elites on Halo 5: Guardians.

If your talking about infinite warfare than I agree, it does look like halo, before the covenant war tho.

Yeah, I wish Halo would still have similar artstyle like in Halo 2 anniversary.
343 should really put elites for use to play in firefight. It be cool to play as the Arbiter again.

Would be fairly fun. SOS just need a look unique to themselves. Given that SOS is a ancient sangheili look would make them easily identifiable as a player and not a AI.

The Halo 3 era look, easy.
Looks a brand new Sangheili phenotype has been revealed in the book halo mythos! It’s only the head of it and the only picture of it on google has the face cut off a bit but it still looks really badass.

343 has given the statement that there were a lack of resources for Halo 5 and post launch was a mess of a scramble to add all the stuff we’ve been getting with the monthly updates. As for Halo 4, I think it’s safe to assume that the company wanted to have that installment more Spartan focused, a pro-UNSC kind of thing.
We did end up getting Elites in the Halo 2 Anniversary with some new sets of armor. Plus there ARE those at 343 who like playing as Elites, namely Morgan Lockhart and GrimbrotherOne.
