Still holding my breath, I won’t keep my hopes up until they hint at the possibility of playable elites. As much as I hate to say this but I really doubt they will be in this update :c there would have at least been some sort of clue by now, not just having some maps set on sanghelios and a usable hunter cannon
When we do get playable Elites in an update, it will be the only thing in the update. Considering how much time it would take, if not more, to make it happen. This will remove armor skins ,weapon skins, emblems, stances, etc, from Spartans. They would have to take away the usual from updates for us to have our Sangheili bros again. Be on the lookout for the minimalist update, then cross your fingers. Until 343 says it by their own mouth, none of us have the slightest clue.

Update’s called “Anvil’s Legacy”, and Anvil’s where SoS and Spartans worked together is War Games simulations. Let’s hope !

But remember there was memories of reach and we got almost no reach stuff…
“Anvil’s Legacy” is just a reference to this update’s focus on Forge.
The only rumors going around about playable Sangheili being added are random comments like in this thread which have absolutely no evidence to back them up. It’s just overly hopeful fans as usual.
I really hope that if playable elites return to matchmaking, they won’t be allowed in arena. The different hitboxes will break arena if they are allowed in. If they ever make an appearance, hopefully they’ll stay in warzone only.

And alot of people who want playable Sangheili back would be mostly fine for them out of Competitive matches, but would still like them in Social Playlists.

Not just warzone, but all social modes. If they stay out of ranked modes, that fine by me, but keep them in customs and social.

I think that would be fair. If it’s not ranked I don’t mind them in. It might be fun to good off as elites occasionally. Also, has anyone addressed how they would match abilities with the spartan abilities? I don’t have time to read this whole thread.

Why not hope for entire new game about mainly Sangheili? I personally hope another developer comes, like Creative Assembly, and make another spin-off game about Sangheili.
