If they do it they’d have to find a way to balance them. The size of Elites plus the way there head is could cause for an advantage/disadvantage. If they made them Spartans just re-skinned I’m sure people would have an issue amd complain that they aren’t “true” elites lol

I think its a win/win to have Elite sin social game types.Since most of those people who seem concerned about hitboxes or balance spends virtually all of their time in the Arena/MLG playlists
I also think that by adding them in social game types, it can make them playable in modes like custom games and forge. Which would not be posisble if you just keep them in invasion.
Heck why not give Elites their own playlists in matchmaking.

Definetly agree with this, did an Elite Skirmish on Halo Reach Last Night and it was chaotic, and when the swords spawned it…oh boy…

If they add elites, they should add invasion as well! That was my favourite gametype in Halo Reach(after BTB) and there are numerous other gametypes/ maps etc they could fit in. Now if only I can get this much support for a falcon…(Has links to halo reach as well)

Speaking of Reach, I was so sure that the “Memories of Reach” update would have playable elites and invasion, brought into Halo 5 and updated with some good old fashioned TLC. Warzone Assault tries to be invasion, but it just isn’t the same (still fun though). I miss watching mighty sangheili warlords trying to lug that silly briefcase (core) back to the phantom like they were important businessmen (business-dinos?).

Dinos have the advantage of longevity. The Arbiter Thel Vadam is more than 70 years old and can still beat the tar out of any enemy dumb enough to get within reach of his Prophet’s Bane! I could see him becoming Halo’s version of Yoda after about 800 years.
Imagine being OP. Notification overload 
Halo 6 has a great many opportunities to get Elites in game. With Halo 5’s forge and custom games, and the REQs, we need our Sangheili warriors/spies/politicians/businessmen/women/monarchs/builders/workers/engineers/anydamnthingthatwecanmakethem back into the series. Because I don’t think using the Arbiter’s personal energy sword should be used by Humans XD. Making Covenant themed maps is always brilliant in Halo 5, well, any theme. But the problem is we can only play as humans. This is an issue because there are so many great things in Halo 5, that if Elites were able to use them, it would be brilliant. Not to mention all the cool extras that could be applied.
