Yeah, this. It’s not like there is something for them to play besides Arena considering “Arena” is just the name given to all of PvP besides Warzone. And there’s nothing competitive about Warzone so that isn’t about to happen, although it would be very funny if they tried.
Personally I find this eSports focus very silly but 343/Microsoft wants to get in on it very badly apparently.

Wrong they are afraid of it, ask one, I did,;~}BTW not that i care, but utube had under 900 viwers on any match I randomly looked up, never saw one live on H channel, except one were the head shots 6 inches off on top and the side of head killed opponant. anouncers went on about what a great clutch shot it was, but it clearly, I mean clearly missed high n to the right. We recorded it, paused the great shot but it missed, no matter how many times we wanted to be wrong.Im sure they knew it, everyone else did.,;~}

Warzone plays very differently from any kind of 4v4 which is all that matters in Halo eSports. There’s a lot of randomness involved with Warzone, 90% due to the req stuff, which just isn’t ideal for competitive play and isn’t meant to be. So I can see why they wouldn’t want to play it, and “pro” doesn’t mean always being in first place especially when playing a playlist they aren’t pros at. Got to give them a bit of space there.
And yeah, the bullet magnetism and aim assist is pretty intense in Halo 5 which is just part of having a console FPS game. Landing accurate shots hardly even matters in this game as long as you fire first anyway, which is just another reason why eSports doesn’t interest me for Halo 5. I prefer games that require more thought and less twitch reflexes. That’s only good for the shiny and exciting gameplay aspect.
I miss playing as an elite in Halo 3. This forum post is important and I’m thankful of its popularity.
