Damn I just got word of this from a friend and now I’m reading it here. I looked on Youtube and Tumblr and found out what the Elites looked like and I am not pleased. The Spec Ops is ok but the Minor…ugh. Just ugly! Big boots too wow and where is the Minor’s mandible guards? Just wrong just wrong.
Halo 4 is doomed. Just hearing and reading what will be in MP isn’t good and I find a video on Youtube of a guy saying this troll is the one doing all the false information around the place. I hope this is all not true if it is I will be one angry Sangheili!! >( I’ll buy Halo 4 for the story not for MP. I told my friends about it and they are not happy. One friend thinks they are merging Halo 4 like CoD. I hope this isn’t true…

Well, the comment about Elites being non-playable is in context of a competitive multiplayer centered upon Spartans. The string of words “Competitive multiplayer” is often repeated.
So, maybe there’s an unranked non-competitive multiplayer that doesn’t follow the whole story progression and has Elites.
I hope.

Me too, but it still wont satisfy me, just please me.
And the fact that you’re now fighting elites in the campaign means that Jul persuaded the elites to attack humans or, that the elites had to join the prophets again because they couldn’t look after themselves and needed help so a new covenant was made with elites and prophets at the center of power with a few other servant races following them, with new colors instead of purple.

Actually…
All it really means is that there are a significant amount of some members of former Covenant races present and hostile to the Master Chief.
We have no percentages of population given so we cannot assume that these are “Elites” as a species who make up this faction. They could even be a fleeing rebel fleet for all we know, ones who are actually opposed by the majority of their kind.
As you can see there are many possibilities you have left out, one of those being civil war. We shall probably be able to guess better once we receive more information.

I think it is fake. But I won’t say until I’ve laid eyes on the issue for myself.
Also, if I haven’t said this before, the Arum is an awesome idea. Kudos to whoever first came up with it!

Ender ghost and his brother came up with the idea to leave an impression on 343. They decided on making an arum!

Ah, nice. I guess the elites have been fighting within each other a lot anyway, and elites haven’t always been huge fans of humans.
I haven’t checked the posts in 2 days and all of a sudden i see all of this terrible news. I really hope this is fake because it scared me pretty bad.
