i like to play as elites we need them back in mm and ff

Maybe, they based it of the beta they have and elites weren’t playable in the beta, but could be in the final release.

From that image we cannot tell if they are in multiplayer, we can confirm they will be in Halo 4.
If Elites are not in Halo 4 multiplayer we need to start a petition, i really want them to return i love playing as an elite and they are my second favourite race.

Maybe the Elites just won’t be in competitive multiplayer?
Because the context they said they wouldn’t be in also stated that it was because competitive multiplayer focused upon Spartan IVs.

Their economy went down the drain and they have no infrastructure. Elites have always looked much less impressive without their armor, and I assume nowadays they can’t afford to field the same quality stuff.

Not even the armor. The shoulders are narrow and small. The hunchback posture. Extremely pale, bumpy skin. The upper jaw of the elite runs into the eye.
It looks like a severely deformed Groundhog/Krogan creature.

They do look a bit odd nut to be honest Elite design hasn’t always been consistent.
One thing that stands out to me is just how bulky this armor looks. Everything fully covered by it looks huge compared to the unarmored sections. Not a particularly appealing design in my mind.
I can only hope the other Elites have better looking armor that looks less half–Yoinked!-.
I believe the same magazine that has that image confirmed that there will be no playable Elites. Or so a certain thread would have us believe. We must have hope!

Well I believe it mentioned something about competitive multiplayer focusing on Spartans with elites being non-playable.
Is there a non-competitive multiplayer?

Personally, looking at the possibilities of gameplay versus fun type style, this is still WAY too early for speculation. My advice in this is to go into MM, and shoot the other guy in the head. Many people complained about Elites in Halo 3, others had issue with them entirely in the SWAT arena, etc… but as the quote above reads, I’m personally for the return of them in MM, as much as I dislike the advantages its presented over the years, it simply wouldn’t be the same without them.
343 can’t destroy my childhood like this… If the Sangheili are not playable in Halo 4, I advise we petition 343. It’s unfair to cut out the Elites… How would Spartan fans feel if Spartans weren’t playable? Exactly.

exactly. im getting the game for the campaign and am going to stick to Halo 3 and Reach’s multiplayer. -Yoink- YOU 343i
Well, if Elites aren’t playable at all in the game, I will just buy it for the campaign, then say: Thanks for -Yoinking!- up my favorite part of Halo, 343. I’ll stick to Halo 2 Vista, Halo 3, and Halo: Reach.

Im so angry Elites aren’t in regular matchmaking.
So mad theres no duel wielding.
So -Yoinking!- mad that they are copying -Yoinking!- CALL OF DUTY.
IM SO TIRED OF CALL OF DUTY. THAT GAME IS DISGUSTING!

If all of this is confirmed to be true, not only about the elites, but about the gameplay as well, I’m out. I’ll finish the Post-War Series Novels to see the fate of the Sangheili race, but that’s it; no more Halo games. I might play Halo 3 from time to time, but unfortunately, if this is all true, I will not be moving on to Halo 4.
