Yeah I posted about this in the support section… it’s wierd since it only happens to this thread and no other thread.

If Elites come back there should be the ability to kick.

Why can’t the mods just lock this thread?

What if its like some cool jump kick?

Because this is thread to bring one of the most precious things in Halo.

The ability to kick? Would this possibly replace a melee action? Spartan Charge in Sangheili form? Ideas, ideas, ideas.

Because there is no reason to whatsoever, and they wouldn’t have anywhere to direct the inevitable new Elite-related threads to.

Plus the only way this thread would be locked is if it is constantly bumped, which is when the same person makes more than one post right after eachother. If this thread was flaming, etc etc. We have done well to keep it as an actual discussion, of course we get a few people who don’t add onto the conversation and we try to get them to speak or in this case type more thought out responses so that we can avoid the thread being locked.

As long as this thread stays active, and follows this sites rules it will never be locked. I hope this thread doesn’t end up being locked until the day we see Sangheili return as a playable feature, and stay as one. If they come back and then leave again, this thread will become active once more I can already foresee that.

The only way to have Sangheili playable in Halo 5 is to not have them in anything competitive except for Invasion. Hopefully this will please everybody who likes to play as a Sangheili for matchmaking.

Because this is the official playable elite return thread. And if this gets locked well just start a new one for it to get to 677 pages.

No I think it’s too late for halo 5 were definitely not getting them. We just have to wait till 6.

Update on the votes: we are currently at 385 and we got it to be number 4 on the first page.

If you haven’t already then please vote here.

have hope brother

i have a question for you all…

would pay to play as an elite in halo 5?

lets say the only way to get elites in halo 5 is to pay lets say a €5 and in halo 6 they improve on it and makes it free.

it only has 1 amour set 1 assassination lets say its the halo 5 sword of sanghelios amour set and some unique assassinations

would you pay €5 to bring back elites?

I’m not saying 343’s going to do this but would you?

It depends on what it’s playable in. If it’s a playable character for everything then definitely.

It’s an expensive game so no, that wouldn’t be the best idea. Micro-purchases in triple A games is a bad idea.

This is beyond a lack of hope although optimism can’t hurt… too much.

If we finally had them added as a microtransaction feature I honestly would pay up as long as it’s not too expensive. That said I imagine it would have to be in Halo 6 and holding playable Sangheili back for paid dlc/microtransactions would be a very disappointing move.

Seeing as how there’s a clear distinction between ranked and unranked matchmaking playlists I don’t see the problem in having the Elites be physically different than Spartans in terms of abilities and hit boxes if they were just not allowed in ranked playlists, which is pretty much the only place where these differences matter.
