I thought about this too. I think the gametype should be more like invasion than the current warzone, and instead of REQ weapons you request reinforcements like hunters for the Elite side and Gauss hogs for the Spartan side.

if we get to 10 thousand votes we get playable elites here’s why. There was a vote last year for a remaster of gears of war 1 for Xbox one when it reach 10 thousand Microsoft said they will make a remake for gears 1.
the gears of war community asked for a full remake with campaign and multiplayer all we are asking for is a specie to be playable so guys lets try reach 10 thousand votes if the gears of war community can we can #ForSanghelios

well…i hope they are small elites…i hated thinking i was shooting someone in the head and they just…did…not…die…maybe make a seperate playlist for it…ELITE SLLLLAAYER…we’ll start with carbines or something

Adding a playlists for Elite sin matchmaking is what I’ve been asking for. since most people who think balancing is a issue would spend 24/7 on the MLG playlists anyway.
But mix them up in custom games.
My ideas for Sangheili abilities.
Clamber: Similar with the Spartan animation, the Sangheili swing their legs up and do a twist while bringing their weapon back out.
Ground Pound: Instead of fist first, Sangheili do feet first, creating a mini shockwave from their heavy stature.
Sprint: This animation actually exists in Reach. Just needs minor tweaks with the new weapons.
Slide: Sangheili slide like the MLB players, on their side.
Shoulder Charge: Can be the same as a Spartan, a massive headbutt, or a dropkick. (I prefer the dropkick myself)
Thrust: Change it with the Evade from Reach. It works the same, just have it roll farther and one use at a time.
Stabilizer: The Combat Harness should have EVA thrusters built in on the back, no matter the variation. Can use the sound of the Rangers from Reach.
Smartscope: This one shouldn’t matter at all, since it’s all tied with the weapons, and not the player. (Or maybe they are… x-files theme)

I can’t believe this thread is still open! But yes “Elites need to make a return to Mp”! Make the Elites Happen and 343 you don’t really have to make new armor sets for the Elites just bring back the Armor from Halo: 2, Halo: 3 and Halo: Reach!
Playable elites armors:
Zealot (Jul Mdama ones)
Rangers(Jul Mdama ones)
Storm
Elite (H2 a)
Outrider
Commando
Commander
Ultra (Reach ones)
Warrior
And some new armors like a promethean style one.
Honestly if people get worried about balancing, there should be a warning message that pops up saying " playing as a elite may put yourself at an disadvantage" that way we get our beloved elites and people wouldn’t care because we would be “easier kills”

Which is why it’s best if 343 make Playable Elites like how they were in Halo Reach cause there they were awesome. That and they still need their own unique abilities to compete with Spartan Abilities.

Or infact, give them different abilities
(Elites should be excluded from arena just saying).

I still think that the Halo 2 Anniversary Campaign models would work best in multiplayer. They are slim, and way less brute looking than the models in H4-5.

All of these are good… However, you can’t evade in mid air… And the thruster pack does that. I say keep the thruster pack… It is lore friendly anyways.
