The OP might not return to waypoint till we get our elites back. He might be biding his time patiently waiting… or he could have just given up. But even if he did, we won’t. We can’t give up on getting our playable elites back brothers.

True. Playable Elites would create even more variation.

It would still be better than getting absolutely nothing from 343. In fact, when someone does make playable Elites for Halo 6 on PC, I think it’ll strengthen our cause.

It would. And I would make sure to give all the support I can, hey wait a minute. Mods are on the Xbox one now so I might be able to experience it as well. Even if I have to pay for it I wouldn’t care id just wanna be an elite again.

They should just add elites in asymmetrical gameplay game types. Instead of WZ Assault, bring back old school Invasion from Halo Reach.
Invasion was the best gametype that ever existed.

Yup, back in the days of Halo: CE there was a whole community of modders. Who were capable of playing as Sangheili, it wasn’t the type of community we see today. Though Bungie back in the day took notice of the audience who would enjoy playing as Sangheili, and so when Halo 2 came out it was introduced to the main population of the community rather than PC specifically. You can look on YouTube today, and search up videos surrounding the topic and videos will pop up!

People always find a way, the modding communities for every game on PC are huge. HUGE! No matter what any sort of security a developer or publisher tries to do, mods will still be made. However of course with that there are two distinct types of modding, one is to change the game and make it more fun by doing something previously not possible. An example is playing as sangheili in a game where you cannot. Then the other form of modding is having a gun that can shoot through walls in multiplayer.
Developers and Publishers seem to enjoy the prior, as they have allowed this sort of thing within their games without seeking legal action or even punishing said modders. Some might argue that it may have to do with, “It is impossible to punish a modder, as mods work off of other mods made by a separate individual!” Which is also true. However in the case of Rockstar and GTAV they allow all sorts of mods in their single player games, but once those mods touch multilayer ban hammers are dropped on unsuspecting modders.
So I am sure if the experience doesn’t bother other players it will be allowed to go on unchallenged!

Well either way, unless those mods come to the Xbox I’m screwed. Because like I said I’ve never been a pc gamer, it’s to clunky for me having to stretch my fingers or even arm across an entire keyboard. I prefer the nice compressed feeling of a controller in my hand. I know I could just plug my controller into my computer for most games but it’s not the same.
So you know what I always find myself laughing whenever I enter this thread. Since I have it followed I get notified when we post in it. And every time I see the blue flag telling me someone posted in here my first thought is This.
