Time for epic 343 comeback!
At this point I’m looking at Halo Wars 2 and a Sangheili Commander for Skirmish…

Actually, Halo 5 has many moments where Humans are very respectful and Honorable towards the Sangheili of the SoS. I believe it was Microsoft that told them not to focus on Playable Sangheili but more on competitive play.

I wouldn’t say it was Microsoft’s falt, 343 just didn’t have it high on their priorities, especially after… well… the game that will not be named…

They didn’t want to take the time to make elites playable when they needed to focus on the actual necessary components of the game.
Trust me, they KNOW we want them, but right now I think they have there hands full.

Yeah, they either want to avoid making a promise they can’t fulfill or make the ones who want elites in disappointed or they just want to surprise us by making them playable in this game or the next game.

It really would have been nice if they had at least said something in here about our little issue. Hell, even hearing “unfortunately we won’t be adding playable elites in Halo 5” at some point earlier on would have been better than no communication whatsoever.

Now now, bumps for the sake of bumps doesn’t look good and isn’t going to help anything but the post count which ultimately means very little.

Exactly while we have a massive post count it won’t mean anything if we don’t have a constructive discussion about how to incorporate playable elites.
Some people who have commented in this, who have a “ee” at the end of their tag, that’s a Sangheili name. I hope Sangheili will be added into the next game, because that’s one of the things that made Halo, well… Halo. There is 650 pages at the moment of comments from so many people.

Hopefully we can get halo back to what it used to be someday but that day will probably not happen… also 651 pages 13000 posts whoooooooo!!!

The -ee suffix implies Loyalism, it is not an all Sangheili thing. There have been plenty of people with Sangheili names as their gamertags who commented on this but don’t have that suffix.
