I feel your pain, guys. I too, want Sangheili to come back- and there has never been a precedent as great as there is now for your return, given the stated SoS/UNSC alliance in Canon Fodder.

Playable Elites would be great to have again. Sadly, I don’t think it’d be enough to get me to play any future Halo games, the way the story is going. Also, I no longer have the free time to play competitively, so no more online subscriptions for me. =(
They are adding a UNSC air vehicle in the game… Finally. Less boring reskins of weapons and vehicles… That new grunt goblin robot thing… This kind of brings my hope up a little… I mean, they just added something that has actually been requested for a long time… I think there is still a chance for the Sangheili player models to come back. It’s the other most requested feature next to a UNSC air vehicle…

Is it? Well I should hope so we’ve wanted it for long enough.
As I’ve said before it would be great seeing the elites return in some real style, Im kinda bored of Spartans again and again. Luckily the newer ones have been more creatively made.

I would be shocked if they have the ability to add elite post launch. I don’t think it would work, Spartans have an advanced move set now. it’s not like in halo 2 or 3 when the Spartans and elites were on the same level movement wise. What are they gonna give an elite a thruster pack and an elite charge and have them ground pounding. It sounds as bizarre as it would look.

Creatively made to feel like true super soldiers… But you have to admit… Most of the spartan armor’s look very ugly, and make no sense at all. Halo 3, and Reach had some good ones… Of course, even some of those made no sense, but their designs were appealing. Actually, they even looked like you could actually fit your head into them, and see out of them… Most of these new ones look like they would crush your skull in funny looking ways, and have the same usefulness as an original storm trooper helmet.

The UNSC and Swords of Sangheilios share tech. It would totally make sense to give the elite armor sets the proper abilities to simulate spartan abilities… As for the ground pound looking bizarre issue… I would like to point out that ground pound it self is bizarre and makes no sense at all. Tell me you find it bizarre looking when you see a spartan do it… Aye?
Things that have been requested are being added in, it had been more than likely been worked on long before people began to ask for aerial UNSC vehicles. Though the fact of the matter is this will please a lot of people, and since it is pleasing people I hope this is incentive to get Sangheili as playable once more. If they haven’t already been working on it of course!

As for this, I would have to say be a bit wary on bringing this one up. It caused a lot of arguing over these forums when people began to talk about this. It was some good exposure for Taras, but he has pretty much accepted what he said started a fight. Though its to be expected, just be careful as I can only assume people are waiting to shoot it down, or support it in a heartbeat.
I know this isn’t related to elites, BUT I’M SO GLAD THEY’RE FINALLY PUTTING A UNSC FLYING VEHICLE BACK IN! Can’t wait to screw around with it in forge. If only I had friends to play Halo with x3
