Yup, making people so mad that people would do everything they can to make at the series more casual focus than competitive focus.
So yeah, a win/win works out. Besides, I never went on ranked playlists unless I had a reason to.

Indeed. It tailors to us all, and more, a whole community is kept in the dark, and though it may not be the huge majority, it is still a formidable portion of the community that could grow more and more.

exactly. I mean millions of people left after 4, and then the grif ball community and forge community were gone for a while at halo 5’s launch. They’ve already restored two communities now they just need us and the classic community and they can retain almost all of the fan base.

me too, I was like “imagine if they added elites in Halo 2, 3 and reach, how awesome would next Halo diversity would be, maybe play as a brute, be able to change alien genders like on spartans or even switch between which spartan generation you want to be etc” instead of that they even delete elites -_- (REALLY -Yoink-) that was a very huge step back

Actually in halo 3 you could pick your elite gender. The only thing it changed was the death cry though.
Every time I look at and/or post on this thread I am reminded of Halo 3, Halo 3 being the best Halo game for me. I met so many friends there and play custom games just about every night for a year. I always thought the Halo 3 style elites looked the coolest, but now I really like the H2A campaign elites, and would love to see them used in Halo multiplayer. The Halo community I have loved for so long and have allowed to enter my life, for me is drifting away. Halo is just starting to get drab for me. Being a cool epic Spartan in Halo CE was exactly that, cool and epic. Halo 2 it was still cool but they made elites playable anyway. But the new Halos coming out… Spartans are now just kind of boring, un compelling. I still play Halo 5 and feel like it’s competitive aspect is strong and interesting. But strong and interesting is not fun. I want to play modes like invasion that we were spoiled with in Reach.

exactly. the only reason they aren’t in h6 is because 343 is ignoring their own lore.
Elites were awesome to play as in Halo’s 2-Reach. Please 343, bring back the ability to play as elites.

This has been said for so long as seen by these 630 pages but 343 still continue to ignore or leave us in the dark which leads me to think one of two things will happen, they will announce bringing back elites saying they have been working on them for a while or they don’t want people to get mad so they will continue to stay silent until Halo 6.
Watch they won’t bring back elites but they will let you play as warden lol
