It’s not too late to add an new DLC, so if they actually do decide to pull they’re heads out of there butts, adding spits screen and elites could be in the update (that’s if they listen and decide to do it).

But I constantly see other threads on the same topic. Especially with the topic of MLG (which is stupid in my opinion). I guess it might be a combination of the two, but elite threads are constantly being deleted on purpose, I can tell you that. The fact this one’s still here is surprising to me. Maybe they were like. “Well, we gotta at least let them have one…”

ay be possible to include elite player models in future Downloadable Content, depending on the layout of the Halo 4 engine. If this is not possible, do not lose faith. If 343 Industries wants to be known as one of the few developers that listens to their fans, they will most certainly incorporate elites as playable characters in Halo 5 & 6. With this being the most popular thread on this forum and holding that title, it seems to be one favor that the fans are wishing to see fulfilled. I comprehend that 343 Industries wanted to make this “their Halo” and not “Bungie’s Halo”, and I respect that philosophy, but this does not mean that all core elements should be pushed to the wayside. This is one core element of Halo Matchmaking that should never be pushed to the wayside.

It’s an over exaggeration of elite fanboyisum. It’s a continuation of the sentence isolated to help prove a point.
Indeed we need our faithful warriors to return.
When you think about it there’s no real problem with them being in game. The precious MLG gamemodes can stay Spartan only, whilst social games can recieve our good Sangheili Warriors to return, I can’t not think of how amazing it can be with Halo 5’s potential
Geez, this thread really has exploded in the last 48 hours…
But I assume new animations would have to be made or ported over from Reach for assassinations for Sangheili vs. Spartan and Sangheili vs Sangheili if they were made playable (S vs E could just use the already existing animations against the AI, but I also assume the Req Assassinations would play a factor as well…)
Armor I assume could be like Reach where it is a whole set rather than Helmet and Armor separate…
Obviously some changes to game play to help make them different as already stated. (Base Health, Size and Hitbox, certain abilities etc.)
Also already stated is to keep them out of Ranked matches, maybe add a E vs E social playlist that isnt ranked that feature Elites only in normal gametypes. Or something like Invasion Slayer (SvE)
Re addition of Preferred Race
Warzone Invasion using the Warzone Assault as a base, but obviously UNSC vs SOS.
I also had a weird idea of a Warzone that would have both teams (One Spartans one Sangheili) working together to take out an AI base (Either Covenant or Promethean) which would more or less be a large scale PvE style match. Team with the most points when the enemy core is destroyed or time runs out would win.
But there is a reason I have been spending most of my multiplayer time with Halo in the MCC collection. And even though I am fairly new to the Halo series (Late January) There is something I like about the Sangheili race, and I agree they should be playable in 343’s games. I just hope I can see that happen one day either with Halo 5, Halo 6, or in a rare occurrence, a game based around a Sangheili character…
