Sangheili (Elites) In New Trilogy Matchmaking (Part 1)

> I’m just counting all the possibilities, Halo wouldn’t be the first game to do such a thing.

Yeah, but 343i likely knows the importance of pleasing the crowd, i doubt they would make the same mistake as other gaming companies. The campaign and MM must be the same mechanichs, or they have basically begun to sign halos death wish.

It would throw way to many people off, and would likelu cause too many bad reactions than good reactions.

She hasn’t even read it yet I don’t think, it has that + sign by it…

Sad to hear that, well hopefully we will recieve a reply within a month or so… cause this thread grew so fast…

As for my ship… it would be:

Gantrithor

Loljks …

it would probably be:

Righteous Executioner

If there are no elites in Halo 4, I honestly doubt I will buy the game. I would be fine with stopping on Bungie’s last game, especially after Halo Anniversary. Now the new graphics and easter eggs were nice, but everything just seemed unrealistically shiny, and there were lights on things that probably shouldn’t even have power.

And the books… that encyclopedia… The only time I have seen someone call a picture of an assault carrier “Truth and Reconciliation”… Twice… It’s a freaking cruiser! The only other ship model actually in the games!

Anyways, there have been playable elites in all the Halo games except ODST and ce. So why not add them into Halo 4? Even ce had mods for “elite campaigns” and things. Actually Reach had Liberty… Off topic much?

Have Hope many people believe that Elites will return, Halo is nothing without them

Hmm… Well thats just rude :stuck_out_tongue: We know she’s been on, but not replying to messages?

And you have the nerve to berate people for not having evidence to back up their claims? Is this joke? Please, tell me you are actually trolling.

What evidence do you have for anything you just said in this post here?

> being trained and cybernetically upgraded from childhood would have a much greater effect then already being a Marine and being trained and cybernetically upgraded.

What effects are present in one that are not present the other and why is that? Can you explain to what degree the common effects will differ and why? Do you have a reason as to why being older is necessarily less effective than being younger, and why this will always be the case? Do you at least have something in the books telling us that this would always be the case?

> How does it make more sense canonwise when we know Yoink! all about them?

Words of wisdom here. It is just a pity that the pot calls the kettle black, eh?

> When did we get a size comparison? Once you go into adulthood, your done for growing, SIV’s will be Marine size unless 343’s planning on saying -Yoink!- you to the laws of biology

Laws of Biology? This is the part where you link some peer reviewed research in genetics that backs up what you are saying. Otherwise, you are just making up rubbish. The “laws of biology” are more flexible than you think.

> and make humans look much more advanced then they should be.

They are 500 years more advanced than us. That is 500 years worth of medical research and knowledge that they have over us. What the hell sort of level should they be on then?

> I Concur, I believe the appearance of sangheili In halo four Multi-player will be Vital for Success, and diversity.

Vital?
Like, come on. Elites are broken.
This is what you people really care about?

I am done.

Vital, no. Broken, hell no. Please explain the “Broken” part of this statment. I realise the hitbox in halo 3 was set up badly, but it was perfectly fin in reach. With a size reduction, they could have exactly the same hitbox as a spartan. I mean, it worked in CEA, why not in Halo 4?

And yes, some of us care about something. Problem?

I might be a little too optimistic, but I think we’ll be able to play as Elites in MP like we used to. This is 343’s biggest chance, that they’ll ever have, to win over the community.

What better way to do that, than bring back the Sangheli? It wouldn’t require a ridiculous amount of work, and would net them quite a lot of good will.

Then again; “You can run on for a long time, run on for a long time, sooner or later God’ll cut you down.”

(I said “laws of biology” because I didn’t know what ells to call it)I really don’t think in 500 years we will have the technology to make humans begin to grow again, there a variety of things that would need to change for growth to happen properly.

Children are still developing so I think giving them all the treatments in childhood would help them adapt to it better then an adult who is already developed.

I’m just assuming. Maybe 343 will make humans have the tech.

I agree totally. Let us be Sangheili!

i would hate for an Elite size reduction it ruins Elites for me soooo much.

Think of it this way, they’re the same elites, but when they’re hunched over then its special ops sangheili.

Hehe…

The reason I think they’re “broken” is that they can’ hardly be shot in the head from behind, and that they can be shot around corners before theäve actually come out of it.

and you can’t really have the same hitbox as fro the humans either, because then, it obviously wouldn’t match.

And yeah, it sort of bothers me this seems so important to you lot, as there are far more important issues, but whatever.

It was stated in TFoR that children were needed for the SII project because an adult body even with retro virus manipulation would reject the implants. This means that a SIV would be inferior to a SII in a number of ways. A) No virtually unbreakable bones B) no smart AI compatibility C) not the same variety of muscle enhancers which needed to be grafted to the bone and causes for far superior strength then anything the totaly safe SIII project could pump out, which was still creating Spartans in 2552, why if the technology existed not make your super soldiers more capable especially if you are on the verge of defeat. I very much doubt that a project that has been going on since before the fall of reach will suddenly find a way of making its super soldiers 10x better and not share it with another project that both are run by parangosky and contribute solely to humanities survival. Though by the era of Halo 4 it is entirely possible that a mixture of flash cloning and retro viruses can account for this. Always a pleasure to debate with you Anton

I might have agreed, but it took you ages to get to the actual point in your OP and I never actually got to read it.

Dinos suck.

lets put it this way; Spartans are boring and variety is the spice of life. And do you know how easy it would be to get another skin to work properly when done by a professional or skilled worker? I mean if a total newb can make some pretty good skins then a professional/skilled model designer could make them fantastic and completely bug free. I also love how your opinions form from something that was so overly hyped and only occurred once in twenty odd kills when the elite was caught from behind and that all but a few could have been avoided by the player attacking playing with his head. I hate to break it you but in reach there is a far worse problem of head shots not registering on Spartans from the front. Halo 4 could have many races in it as different skins with absolutely no difference in play other than appearance, after all variety is the spice of life.

to be honest my avatar is an elite because its the next closest thing to a flood in a way (for me)
