The things is what a lot of the people on this thread are saying, myself included, is that we really don’t care. I am not alone with the statement that I would gladly put myself at a disadvantage to play as an elite just because I think they are really cool.

Yeah after all people didn’t give a damn if they had bigger hit boxes in H3 and reach.

Let’s not get too carried away. I would not like being at a severe disadvantage. It would be miserable in an invasion like game type. There would have to be some advantages to being an Elite to make up for the size. Also, Halo 3 Elites were hardly at a disadvantage. It was barely noticeable. For a half decent player it did not matter. So, If the kind of “disadvantage” you are referring to is like the Halo 3 type then I guess it wouldn’t be a problem. Anything more than that slight hitbox difference would be a big problem. I myself prefer the bigger model for Elites like in Reach, but it would have to come with it’s own advantages.

You may be right, but were not about to give up on wanting Elites. We are going to keep posting here (within reason) until 343 address the issue.
We want Elites in this game, and we are willing to support this thread until it happens responsibly.

Sangheili are an amazing species in Halo. I want them in Halo 5, there are so many ways that they can be made to be equal with the new Spartan Abilities. I’m sure in reality, if a Sangheili Sprinted full speed and should charged a Spartan the Spartan would get knocked on his tail. Also, the Ranger has a built in Jetpack in its Armor. So I’m sure the aim down sights and hover for a few seconds could be a thing. And an Evade option could be added as well. A Sangheili can have most of the Abilities of a Spartan in Halo 5, except ground pound, but they’d be equal. I’d love to see them come back, bring back the Sangheili.
