We rather be an elite rather than a spartan that looks like an elite. It makes sence and is Canon that s4 train with SoS elites. Why there not in game is beyond me.

Halo 5 should have had elites. And firefight wouldn’t be a bad place for it because hit boxes don’t matter…

True. I don’t know how much logic was involved in their decisions with Elites. The community asked for all these cool things after Halo 4, so 343 delivered with H2: Anniversary with the Hornet, Infection (which Halo 5 gets tomorrow), and Elites. Then they disregarded all that progress when they made Halo 5. Oh well, I guess 343 has the control over what happens and what doesn’t.

Correct me If i’m wrong, but I believe it was certain affinity that developed the Halo 2A multiplayer and 343 was responsible for creating the network code and stuff like that.

Well we were able to play as them in firefight during reach… Sadly only in vs but we could still play them…

I would want spartans and Elites to work together personally. It would be fun to have that happen and with the story halo 6 is looking to play, I think it would be fitting.

But there are certain people, myself included, who don’t feel like waiting how ever many years for halo 6 just to play as elites again. We want to be an elite in the game we have right now. Were it so easy.

I don’t see why not give them equal stats and make elites bigger and if people to be at a disadvantage then let them because elites are awesome

Honestly could not agree more, simple way to make everyone happy would be to ban elites in swat. That’s it, no one really complained much about elites being balanced in other modes.
The ONLY thing I don’t like about infection is how the announcer said “last SPARTAN standing.”

No put elites in swat that way the Spartans can really feel our wrath.
I will laugh if Elites are in their precious swat, I will happily annoy them with a bigger advantage
Side note: Dear Competitive veterans, we are actually fine with Elites away from your precious SWAT and Arena/MLG playlists. So don’t keep annoying us with the same complaint over and over again.

I can believe this thread is still alive. If they bring back elites to matchmaking the only possible way I see it happening is if they implement a playlist where elites play vs elites, otherwise, the Spartans would have a tremendous advantage due to hit box size, elites being bigger are so much more easy to kill. Also, they should increase health from 30% to 50% I guess.
