If we can’t play as Elites in MoR hope at least they allow us (judging by that Jackal gif) To spawn a few AI in forge, that way I can somewhat create new characters much easier. But just imagining the possibilities for playable Elites still gets my mind racing with ideas and hopes. I don’t hate 343 but honestly they’ve p*ssed alot of people off just having Spartans rather than Elites in newer games, myself included. The possibilities for having Playable Elites again are huge and with all the cool stuff they now implement into the games it would be more enjoyable to see Sangheili return in style and with access to most of these features. (Not talking about your precious SWAT/MLG gametypes, don’t worry guys. Again.)
Spawning corpses in forge will be interesting. The jackal appeared to have been infected judging from the green ooze radiating from them. But the skull lying next to them is very peculiar. Maybe a nod to odd ball? Will AI spawn and can hold objectives? Maybe even a hint they’re going to bring the flood into matchmaking through AI infected forms. Or maybe this a hint we can play as all species in the covenant? So many questions.
MoR could drop the bombshell and reviel that the Oni Card is in fact the “elite armor” that had been suggested before. In wich case they should offer it standalone or give it to everyone.

Whilst it’s possible that Elites could be behind that ONI thing, I highly doubt it would go unannounced at this point. I imagine it’s the Falcon, but it’s not like we can’t hope.

No I’m remembering properly. It was the last update when everyone was arguing if one of the blured out cards was a CE magnu, fist of rukt, or a pet grunt. Then when the update came out and they unblurred the card it was the grunt toy from riptide.

I think he means the blurred card itself was the plushie to mask the fact that it was the magnum. If you look closely at it you can kinda tell, and they might have talked about it in a community update.

Combat, commando, and flight, it’s pretty much a tie for me.

The Ascetic and Commando sets were my absolute favorite in Halo 3. If playable Elites return, I’d like to see a variation of these permutations come back as well.
