Not trying to say it’s meaningless, you support what you think can improve the game, I’m just saying that bragging about 600 pages and 12k comments means nothing when not all of them are yes to elites, I can find certain users posting dozens up times just to post bump, then there’s people who’ve debated the topic (myself included), and then there’s even been pointless posts that have no correlation to the thread. I personally don’t care at all for elites, but I’m not vs adding them so long as they’re separated from competitive play or until their model is equal to a Spartan model.

Agreed. This thread has become an echo chamber. It’s mostly the same people posting over and over again.
I’d like Elites to return as well, but like ShadowAngel said keep them separate from spartans. I’d love to see a Warzone Invasion gametype. I’d also love it if one out of every 6 arena games were played with elites.
I’d prefer them out of gametypes like slayer, team arena, team snipers, and SWAT but they should be allowed in gametypes like BTB and Fiesta as well as the warzone gametypes.
Ah of course the ageold consultation of ‘No competitive play for Elites’. Seriously we have said so many times we are fine with them out of competitive gameplay as long as we get them in social matchmaking and custom games we are fine. Feel like this is never going to stop occurring as a thing.

Agreed. If there were game types geared specifically for spartan vs elites, there wouldn’t be an issue. They could even go and make elite vs elite game types for competitive play.

I guess the very existence of social matchmaking also threatens competitive play.

Adding Elites would not be that big of a deal, but the lack of their existence as a playable entity is growing the problem out of proportion. Maybe one day 343 will realize this.

As part of those back on bnet back in the day asking to be able to use the sword and play as an elite. h2 was like a dream come true.
Now if MoR reviled that Mp elites are a thing id make a thank you 343 thread and sing songs of high praise for thier efforts asking only that they be standard option in h6 and beyond.

There is an “ONI Classified” REQ on the list, and I see 3 potential things it could be.
a. The Falcon
b. Forge World remake
c. Playable Elites
There is still hope
Any of those I’d be happy with, but you see that mythic next to the Brute Plasma Rifle?
It it just might be a Plasma Launcher. Look closely and you’ll see that blue tint in it. Come on hope for good stuff and we shall one day receive it
