This is just about how they look, not how good they are. I’m going with the energy sword, looks amazing.

I agree, wouldn’t make sense to remake their weapons if they can’t be in MM which also raises the question of how does it fit in MM to have covy weapons which in my eyes is a hint to the possibilities of sangheili in the multiplayer.

If they confirm the return of the energy sword, then we have our answer. Becasue the only covenant species to use the energy sword is the Sangheili.
I say we shall likely have our answer in the next vidoc, becasue if the sword is in and no sangheili, then 343 will have a lot of explaining to do on the canonical side of things.

I completely agree. The energy sword is by far the nicest looking weapon of them all. Elegant and deadly, the perfect combo.
The energy sword is my favourite weapon, I am pretty good with it too. Not having it in Halo 4 will make me dislike the game that bit more.
And why not make all species playable with custom or firefight games?

According to the story elites will play some role. Not too sure how or what, but apparently they’re in there.
