I would cry tears of joy if they were hiding that from us in the Memories of Reach update.
They’ll need to overhaul a lot of stuff to make up for not giving us Elites. They can’t make what? 60-100+ Spartan armours and only make around 5-10 new armours for Elites, at least lets get around 20-30.

I hear ya man elites were all I played, and you know what people complain that they have different hit boxes which is true but they had BIGGER HIT BOXES the person playing the elites were at a disadvantage but we didn’t care they were badass

That’s sort of backwards actually.
As far as I know there were no Spartan IIs training with Elites, but there were Startan IVs training with them in the ANVIL program. Assuming it’s still relevant after Halo Online fell down a dark pit at least, but I believe it was also mentioned in a Canon Fodder article at some point.

well before the foundation of the covernant they were basically kings who would rule over the clan’s and their kaidons
after the covernant was founded they became the ‘Will of the Prophets’ and was still a rank of high skill, honour and a great privilege
but after the incident with Fal 'Chavamee the arbiter was something to be given to those without honour (like accused heretics) who would become a arbiter as a last chance to restore their honour in suicidal missions, as we learn from Halo 2a terminals it was also a way to keep the elites in check, a way to have any influential elite to be eliminated without the need for assassination and to keep relations in check.
We need this. At least in social playlists and warzone. Keep this thread alive. 343 elites area big part of halo and you really don’t need to balance it in warzone and social playlists because they are just for FUN. also add invasion with this
This thread is a testament to the tireless devotion of a forlorn community. How can 343 continue to ignore this?
Do they not see that if implemented correctly, playable Elites could add so much to the final product?
Different hitboxes? Put them in exclusive playlists like Elite Slayer or Invasion and give us the options in Custom Games to re-live the glory days.
343 has put an increasing amount of effort into pleasing long-time fans with the recent additions of the CE Pistol, Halo 2 BR and classic armour sets, is this not the next logical step to reconcile themselves in the eyes of those who they rejected for the last 3 years?
