So the mods finally moved this thread from the halo 4 forums to the halo 5 forums. Perfect now we can stop seeing threads on this topic every 2 minutes in the halo 5 forums
Back on the ropic at hand. The solutions that some have provided to make elites playable are very workable.

Weather or not this post is still relevant to this date, (2/12/2016) I would like to bring to the attention of Halo fans from this, to who should really be trying to help us with this. HaloFollower may not be the most stable channel to view, they do however have a big following, and should be representing all aspects of Halo’s community. But as of recent all I hear about from them is “Infection.” A whole community is dying, and you’re worried about infection?
I just think 343 is to lazy, either that or they’re waiting to return Sangheili in Halo: 6.
`They only need to hold back on the amazingly weird (yet some of them just funny) weapon skins, along with holding back on all the Spartan armours that they keep adding, so Elites can be introduced. It also irritates me how Elite armour numbers will never match Spartan ones. But we need them, pull yourselves together 343. We know you can get Elites back.
We won’t have Elites in Arena. Ranked will always be Spartans vs Spartans.
BUT I still want my Invasion. 
I just want to play as a Zealot 343, please …
Considering that in halo 6 we’ll be on Sangheilos again we better get elites then.

Well they have mentioned in the past that they prefer to have Elites in matchmaking and they had multiple videos about adding invasion and such, so we can say that they did support us. How many times could they do that before people get annoyed though. They would lose followers for sure If they kept beating a dead horse. Also, Infection is a pretty big deal for pretty much all halo fans and a much more likely addition for the near future of halo 5. But it would still be really cool if they continued to try to gain support for this community now and then.
After being in a Elite clan on Reach, I can see why ppl havent crossed over to H4 and onwards. Heck, same refuse to get xbox one because of the lack of elites
We better get elites in Halo 6.

Elites should also compensate for the Spartan’s greater mobility with greater strengt, such as slightly increased melee damage and a higher jump. Maybe a slightly stronger shield?

Certain playlists such as Elite Vs Elite slayer/objective and Spartan Vs Elite slayer/objective will be fine, and warzone should be easy to implement playable Elites. Invasion, a Spartan Vs Elite BTB from Halo Reach, can be remade as a warzone variant.

I these are great points, and great job picturing them out. I honestly could see this out there if it ever was implemented.

Tossing my hat in for playable Elites in Halo 5/6 multiplayer.
Hell, an Elite should be added to Fireteam Osiris in 6.
Elites back in the campaign and multiplayer would be epic in halo 5 and 6!
