you know, i dont recall there even being a hitbox issue! all you had to do was relocate your sniper’s crosshair, which wasnt that hard to do.

i just hope they bring back the Halo 3 elite player models and the combat helmet. Personally I think the Reach elites look like they were bred with brutes. I liked my white and red elite with his combat helmet and everything else set to commando.

I literally played Halo 2 & 3 matchmaking all the time… When Reach came out Me I played matchmaking until I unlocked all the Elite armor; then I started hosting customs, because Bungie made bad desgin choices & didn’t let us be elites in multiplayer…

They couldn’t be shot in the back of the head, their necks had no hitbox you could literally throw grenades through certain parts of their bodies. That counts as a pretty big problem in my book.
As I said before, you 200 or so may love it, but the other 100,000 might want to quit out after finding out they’re playing against a team of dinos.
It really made the multiplayer matches feel more diversified in Halo 3 I really hope they put elites back in the mix, they can have 2 models a small one and a larger one, perhaps the elites come in all shapes and sizes

Although I didn’t use them, they add to the whole atmosphere of MM, they should be able to play in ALL play-lists in Halo 4 not an insignificant few reserves that nobody ever plays.

That makes sense, but it might lead to balancing problems. Maybe if shorter Elites jumped higher, and taller ones jumped as high as or slightly below the height of Spartan jumps?

Again, there could be plenty of dino-lovers out there. These 200 don’t compromise the entirety of the Elite community.

Then 343 should fix the hitbox…and why would people leave against a team of elites?
Edit #1: Maybe 343 could put in an elite slayer playlist or something if they can’t put elites in normal MM.

No I’m saying use the small ones for multiplayer so they are the same ratio as spartans to keep the balance while the big ones can appear in campaign, to keep their imposing vibe if they do appear of course

People just have that mentality, I can’t explain to you why. Some think everyone who plays as a dino is a dumb little 12 year-old, others might hate them for other arbitrary reasons. The point is they do, especially in Halo3 when it was in SWAT. The playlist is what I suggested in the first place, but that wasn’t liked b/c it gave Elites too many limitations.
It’s not all about the hitbox, that could easly be fixed or re-worked. If elites aren’t in the game, it will affect the population, custom games, and most importantly the machinima. Some people love to play as an elite others don’t given that, you have 2 choices so you can’t be too upset. People like to make Spartan vs Elite matches in custom games and guess how it will be affected if we don’t have elites in Halo4.
