Seriously now, there’s not even an excuse from the point of lore cohesiveness. It has been stated that there are Elites training alongside Spartans onboard the Infinity.
The only issue I can see if making enough armor to make Elite-only players care as much as the rest for the REQ system (if it returns).

I’m willing to deal with not have a s much armor as the Spartans. Besides there will still be enough cool looking armor to sustain me. Just give us enough armor and make them playable in playlists other than invasion or fire fight type games heck the competitive players can have keep the completive game playlists for all I care, just put Elites in social slayer and objective playlists and it will be just fine. If these guys who often dread balance want to play a game and not have elites in the same game session then let them have the arena playlist to themselves. They will likely spend all of their MP hours in Arena/MLG playlists anyway.

Thing is with 343 Industries, is that you can only make so many excuses before the whole of the Fandom glares and just drops ya.
The Sangheili as it stands, well we’re persistent, but our patience is also limited. Question is, how many excuses do they have to make, or how many writers they need to BS with us with before it goes down hill?
At this point as we all can seem to agree upon, 343 has no excuses, none.

You could always leave the spartan clan.

That is a really cool idea. Of course, let’s not add more Covie weapons/vehicles until the Spartans have their flying UNSC vehicle like the Hornet or Falcon.

Funny thing is when I looked up what you could do in Halo 5’s forge I was impressed. too bad it was overwritten by the disappointment of not having Elite sin multiplayer

Yea that is a great idea Deci. Maybe one day it will be reality. Hopefully. However, I do agree with Khat. What the heck happened with the UNSC aircraft in MP? With the direction they are going I’m surprised they didn’t have something at launch. You would think that the Spartans would want to practice with some human aircrafts as well.

Holy Jesus this thread is massive.
Elites would be cool to play as but I’d think they’d have to be in an Elite-only game mode, unless we’re playing in a social playlist & it wouldn’t matter either way.
Seriously though if they did everything that we mentioned I might never stop playing Halo 5, same goes if Elites were playable in Halo 4, because they are great games, just missing one thing: Elites. I don’t favour people who mock and rage at 343 every. Damn. Time. Because they are good at their job. They just need to add Elites again.
