It’s great to see more moderator activity on this thread, (in reference to abut ten pages back) And frankly I’m astonished at how much the thread has grown since I last visited it. Good job, but be patient! Halo 4 will not be out for a very long time, and I think they aren’t pinning the thread or responding for professional reasons. That said, have hope! We can’t have gone unnoticed, I fully believe that someone in 343i has caught wind of our antics and know why we’re here. I think that the point has been made and understood by now. You guys can go on discussing stuff and keeping the thread alive, but I think we are safe to let it rest for a while and I’ll pick it back up again when we get closer to the release date. Besides, When 7 pages in a row consist primarily of two people having a conversation, I wouldn’t call that seven pages of legitimate support. But I thank all of you who committed yourselves to this thread for such a long time to keep it from being buried in it’s youth, which would certainly have killed it.

I checked about 10 pages back, nothing, but maybe I missed it.
Remember though, Monitors don’t work directly for 343. They’re just mods. Monitors visiting this thread is a good sign, but not a surefire sign that 343 has seen this thread.
I doubt that they’ve missed it though. 17K plus views and 1K plus comments? They have to at least have taken notice of this.

Besides Yo!, it probably is the biggest one out there.

In all honesty, the letter probably would have more of an effect, especially if they got to hold the Arum in their own hands. And i can see why your brother would want to keep it, and im all for him keeping it, but something besides just a picture and a picture and a letter should be sent in the abscence of the Arum. Maybe we could send a picture, a letter, and a signatur/gamertag of everyone who thanked Avu for this thread (on a petition)?
What else could we send?

It wasnt a moniter, but i think i recall a Superintedant commenting on this thread awhile back. Its likely to me that 343 should have seen this thread in some way by now, as it is very large.
Its not the biggest out ther, but it is the largest un-pinned one that we have.

Maybe we can ask them to send the Arum back when they are done with it? Heh.
Besides the list of people who signed the thread… maybe we could go and ask some of the various clans to ‘sign’ their support?
And maybe we could have like a “group picture” of some of the signers on Reach? (My gold just ran out so count me out for that) hmmm… comic con is coming up…
An Oracle took note of this thread? This is big news fellow Sangheilian brothers - With the amount of views this thread has I’m pretty sure they’ll listen to our outcry.
/roleplay, lulz.
But seriously congrats on the OP getting this much attention to his thread. Let’s hope this isn’t all in vain.

i find it odd that other threads like this have been posted, all have hardly gotten past page 2, but this one somehow managed to last 22 days and become one of the largest threads there is
We can only hope that this thread continues on it’s way to greatness and that 343industries allows us to play as the very characters we have come to love, that are the incredibly deep, fantastically in depth race of the Sangheilians.

Actually, sending the arum to them and asking them to send it back is probably a great idea! That way, they get to hold the arum in their own hands, and your brother gets to keep it. WHo knows, the might even include it in the next Vidoc. And asking the clans would be a good idea as well, seeing as how they cant really sign this thread. A group picture might work, although we’d only be able to chose sixteen people. In that case, i woulds say clan leaders, Avu, you and your brother, and whoever else we can fit in after that.

That would be a sight to see.
If halo 4 turns out to be a halo:reach or a CoD, count me OUT

Me and my brother don’t have gold/internet, I’d say the clan leaders and other Significant Sangheili (Me and my brother aren’t really significant- go go gadget “Brave Regulus” heh)
But he wants me to talk to BS Angel about him getting it back.

Could, there is a big difference between could be and are. Sure, there could be many people who don’t get on the forums that might like this, but there could be many more that wouldn’t. Not to mention the regular forum-goers and regular players have very different mindsets.
I really don’t see why everyone wants to throw Elites back into regular matchmaking, which would probably result in more problems like there were in H3. I wouldn’t have a problem if there was an Elite-only playlist or something. That would probably be better too, since you wouldn’t have to deal with players quitting out like they do when Elite Slayer is picked in Halo Reach.

Because we love playing as elites. It’s what got me and others into Halo. Also, the hitbox issue wasn’t as big as you make it out to be. Also, we don’t want elite only playlists we want to play as them in any playlist. We are tired of being limited.
