In halo 1 you fought elites and in Halo 2 we were able to play as elites.

I’m trying to tell you that Halo Waypoint doesn’t represent the entire Halo Community. Sure, there are over 100,00 members in this forum, but how many of them are actually online? There is only like 150 active people during a day. 200 unique people posting in a thread is actually a lot.
My brother has agreed to make the Arum, but says it will be a pain in the -Yoink- (No surprise there) but it may take a while…

We don’t know for sure if 343 Industries is really compliant with the public. Thats what Halo 4 is sort of going to determine. Just because some of the community enjoys playing as Elites doesn’t mean they are going to add Sangheili into the game. You don’t have a very valid arguement but that doesn’t mean they are not going to add them into the game as a whole. I mean why wouldn’t they add elites? They have been here sense Halo 2. I am just saying for Sangheili, 343 may or may not care that people want them in the game. Its all rumors and speculation at this point, we will just have to wait and see.

I am not going to lie, I would love to have a new character to play as in multiplayer. Especialy a Forrunner character, I would just absolutely love it. Quick somebody tell 343 to add that -Yoink- before its too late!!!
One would tink that there I even more reason to e a elite in multiplayer now then ver because of the events in Halo 3.
I couldn’t possibly see a need to takeout elites because that would make them lose a small % of players who enjoy being elites. Plus what would happen to the machinimas?
343 even said they wanted to help the machinimas so elites are definetly in.

I always thought Halo 3 should have added Brutes as a cosmetic option.

i hope that means Brutes too. imagine machinima with brutes. then you could make clips about after the Great Schism, were the elites arnt against the Spartans

If you misunderstood, when I said 200/110,000 I meant 200(Forum members in support)/ 110,000(Players in Halo Matchmaking).
If that doesn’t clear that up I don’t know what will.

He’s trying to say that not all of those 110,000 players are even on these forums, and so they would not be able to thank the OP even if they were pro-Elite.

Let x represent the number of people on this site.
Let y represent total halo gamers.
There are Y halo gamers. Of that, there are only X amount of those gamers on this site. Of the x amount on this site, there are only about, 150 active on any given day. With only that amount of people on at any given time, this means that this thread has quite a significant amoount of supporters give the X amount of people on the site, and the people on at any given day or time.
That also means there could be 100-10000 other supporters who simply dont go on the site.
Anyway, what he was trying to say was, for the amount of people on at any given day, we have gotten a fair bit of support as we have more support than the normal amount of active people. That is actually a lot of support.

A pitcure could work just fine. I could then incorperate the picture into the letter for easier sending… PS: Are we emailing or mailing?
I agree with everything said here, Elites are my favorite race in Halo and I prefer them to Spartans in multiplayer, the thought of playing as elites in invasion makes me legit excited.
However, you underestimated the size of people that are part of the elite community, there are endless people that appreciate them and prefer them.

Which do you think? I thought mailing them the Arum and the letter would have more of an affect but my brother wants to keep it and send a picture.

Not just brutes, what about all possible species that are in the games, even forerunner and sentinels, purely for certain Custom Games/Machinima. Wouldn’t that be fun? Hunter slayer? Grunt slayer?
