I hope Elites will be playable…they already limited our armor customization to just Helmet and Body 
hopes he will be passing
I also remain optimistic. But I also think I am really going to enjoy the the campaign and at least the multiplayer for a good year even if they don’t bring in Elites. I don’t mean to sound like I am not an Elite fanatic because I am I assure you, but I also love halo for what it is. We are doing all we can in hopes of getting our lovelies back and we will continue to do so, but in the meantime I will enjoy the other things I love about halo and try out the new and promising features like I did with halo 4. Halo 4 had a fantastic campaign and I really enjoyed the multiplayer for a good while, but I did lose interest much quicker than previous titles since I couldn’t play as an Elite. Others picked the halo 4 multiplayer apart too much I think. I had a lot of fun with it and I don’t really see why others think it was so bad. I know it had its flaws, but I still had fun.

I know why they weren’t added, but it could be done after launch when they start making money back. As for how, I don’t care. If people complain about balance if they’re in all game types, they can just learn to shoot like everyone else. Maybe play campaign to practice?
Though I’d like to see the Reach method expanded upon as it always should have been as well. Perhaps a mix of both methods would be good. But not for Halo 5. Best we can hope for in Halo 5 is an update/DLC with the Halo 2 method.
I hope a future update brings playable Sanghelli to Halo 5, for sure. The more variety the better.

I may not be super excellent at this game but I do know that most players are well adapted to specific targets.

Maybe, but Its still a deal breaker to not have them playable. We want them to be playable.

I hope Invasion comes back as an update later on so we can play as them that way.

Bring the elites out for MP will be grand. They should be playable for DLC or Halo 6.
I wish 343 listened to us, but they didnt. They said they listened to the fans but so far they’ve done nothing we’ve asked of them. No one asked for lack of armor customization, no one wanted them to remove split screen, we never told them to remove elites and not bring them back, 343 you really need to get your head in the game. The day they add elites back I’ll get the game. But until then I have zero interest in the game. I’ve never liked being a spartan and I probably never will.

I will play as a Spartan if I choose to, not when I’m forced to. If they do get added in and hopefully split-screen they will get my attention again.

343 said that the split-screen was an hard choice for the progression of the game and for the elites they said that they didn’t have time and resources for that.
At this point i can close an eye for split-screen but elites must return as DLC!

If they can bring these back I will be happy.
A pity they sacrificed a gameplay feature for mere aesthetics.

Well that’s… rude, don’t you think? People put varying amounts of worth into different things. I value gameplay and a quality player experience far more than the number of pixels rendered at any given time, that doesn’t mean people are wrong for wanting 1080p.
Wouldn’t it be easier just to… y’know, not try to stir the waters? So you disagree with people, whatever. That’s life, and it’d be a lot nicer if people just let others do their thing.

I think you might be seeing the people that actually care as a problem instead of the people that only think they care. In a group this dedicated I think we can all agree that the people here are overwhelmingly part of the former.
And can we talk about how some people around here are said to be over-reacting? What are they supposed to do? It’s either they express how they feel about the situation and make it clear that this is an important feature that’s going to effect their decision in buying the game. Or they can just act like someone saying “yeah it’d be nice but there’s no priority, I’ll play the game anyway”. One route has you looking like you’re over-reacting and therefore you don’t deserve to have your request met, or the other route has you letting your request come off as something that doesn’t need to be looked into with any sense of urgency. Honestly looking at the situation from this perspective I think those people going with the former method probably have the right idea, If you want the communities favor you go with the later method, if you want 343 to take note (actually matters) of this as something that’s urgent you go with the former method and brave the storm that others like you will surely come blowing in.
And I’d certainly argue that the fact that this entire issue is contained within one thread only helps the forums health instead of a bunch of annoying clone threads that are made every other day talking about the same damn issue. Remember when it was the norm for there to be a different pack of ordnance threads rolling in every single week? I agreed with the message but the way it ended up being discussed was so disorganized and unnecessarily messy. This thread has been around since before Halo 4 came out and if you think this threads absence means things are going to automatically reset to how things were before in a time so long ago you’re dreaming. It’s a complete disregard to everything else that has effected this forums atmosphere in the past few years. Dropping all the problems you have on Waypoint on just one group of people isn’t cool.
Been a while since I posted on here, and surprised Agent C hasn’t showed up defending 343I per usual.
Anyway, that is one thing that has bothered me so far is the focus on Aesthetics over gameplay. The claim of 343i listening to the community really just irks me, because they didn’t. And to be honest, I honestly feel the “lack of time and resources” is a lie.
To recall one thing, isn’t Halo Reach coming to be ported over to the Xbox 1?
