Denied of playable Elites again. 
Ever since I heard of the lack of playable Elites, my decision of purchasing this game has been largely reconsidered, due to that and the lack of split-screen. That’s a totally different topic though, of course. I feel Halo 5 was a bit too ambitious and forgot a lot of the core parts of Halo, it honestly makes me pretty sad. I hope for Elites to be added as playable in some form of DLC, although I doubt it. The developers seem to be suggesting this, though (as far as I’m aware, that is. I’ve got no source).
Hopefully elites can return as DLC. If they do the Reach Method, I’d be fine so long as they have mixed species playlists. Promethean Soldiers would also be welcome, if they could find a way to explain that of all things.
If Elites do eventually come back which I really hope for, the Arbiters armor should be one of the armor sets. I was so annoyed that his armor was not in halo 3.

I for one would like usable honor guard armor.
Has 343 confirmed that Elites can come back as DLC or is that just silly pipe dreams
If there is going to be elites, Can you leave that storm covenant crap somewhere else? It just makes the Sangheilli look more rabid and savage.
Halo 2 Anniversary they were elegant looking and awesome looking. But we still didn’t get to use their armor…
If you’re gonna add in elites please just H2A not 4. It’d be badass if we could play as an honor guard or a councilor…or the honor guard councilor found on the Gravemind mission!

That’s what drove me to not buy the game.
Some may say that not having Elites is a big deal but Elites are as important to me as a set of rank numbers are to some.
also abut 80-90 percent of my fun in gamming is playing with my twin brother and friends at the same time.

Hehe, I know the storm design is not the most lovable and neither is the character model, but after a while, it kinda grew on me, particularly the Storm Warriors (the Generals) sangheili. If anything would make it better is actually complete the armor set, give it its full undershirt and arm armor too. I do miss the Reach variants of the Minor, Officer, and Ranger, the sleek full suit…

The Ultra in Halo Reach was very similar to this. I think that was what inspired the design. I remember wanting that armor in halo 2. Reach basically gave it to us. I would love to see it again!

Probably just words. It is possible but resources likely won’t be spent there. I am hoping they make it happen, I would spend all the money to play as an Elite. I think our best bet now is to just look towards the future, and hope we get a Sangheili themed game or hope they come back for the next Halo title.
And it’ll be 1000 pages long and 20,000 replies later before we get playable elites, I don’t mind the Sangheili being added as DLC as that will add longevity to Halo 5 matchmaking.
one does not simply ignore a sengheili and expect to get away with it

Most people here don’t care for Elites you are just a small group making a lot of noise. Yeah I made up a figure but still I doubt 980 people have posted and they may just like the OP post not really want Elites. In the context of things though still you are a small minority making a lot of noise there are millions of Halo fans and you can’t even muster up the support of over a 1000 pretty poor return to be honest.

Sorry what are you getting at? There are millions of Halo fans and the biggest thread with support for Elites is this one which has perhaps support of 980 people? Which is a tiny amount compared with the entire community and Halo fans so please enlighten to me to what claims I am making with out evidence? This thread is the evidence support for Elites is miniscule not many people for them.
