You know, in the new book, Hunters in the Dark, Vale’s description on Uze makes them sound fast and very agile. It’s what they should be, and even with out armor they’re an easy match for any Spartan. It’s really neat, but seems like 343 refuses to even acknowledge their own approved work.

This seems to be the best option. The only objection to playble Elites (that I’ve seen) is that their different hitboxes may cause a stir in the competitive community. As miniscule as that difference may be, separating them from the Spartans should satisfy everyone. And if they do this, I’d love to see a playlist for Elite Slayer where players begin with Covenant weapons.
I’m happy to see so many like the Reach method for the Elites! Definitely how I prefer it! Love to be different! Man it bugs the crap out of me to see all these halo 5 trailers with Spartans working with Elites and knowing they won’t be playable! It’s so close, but so far. One day perhaps. I am willing for it really hard. We should all think for it as hard as we can and maybe it will happen. xD

I can’t even post anything anymore, I mean really? I just found something that I thought would help. I mean it doesn’t really hurt anyone, but nope, blocked. I love Elites in Multiplayer and to answer Polygoner’s question, I don’t want this forum blocked. I even made a speech a week before E3 relating to Elites in H5 MP being confirmed at E3 (although they were confirmed out) at least 20-30 pages back on this page.

Well its very important to the Elite community
I think this goes beyond the elite community, there are those who are dedicated spartan players who care about this as well.
im wanting elites to return because of canonical reasons and they are our “trophy” from the original trilogy.
they are very ingrained in the community, i remember in 01 in hce we were asking for theability to play as elites on bnet.
and now we must do it again even if it takes another 3 years.
when we get elites back then and only then can this thread can die.
