I’d rather have a spin off game focusing on the sangheili, then them being poorly implemented in a game that isn’t designed to have them in mp.

I’d agree with you, but the chances of an Elite spin-off game are very slim, so I’d say it would be better to at least poorly implement them in the game.
343 is just so obsessed with Spartans, and fleshing out their abilities that were in the novels but not in game, that they’ve pretty much forgotten that the Sangheili are just as amazing and impressive, if not more. Yeah, Spartans are capable of some incredible things. But let’s be honest, most of them didn’t go missing in action, and it certainly wasn’t the Unggoy who made them disappear. The Sangheili race was the backbone of the Covenant, they nearly wiped out humanity before turning the tables and cutting off the head of the Covenant itself. Their importance to Halo can’t just be thrown out the window, their value is equal to that of the Spartans. Halo 5 shouldn’t be “All Spartans all the time”. 343 may like to think that Spartans are the ultimate warriors and that they’re unmatched on the Battlefield, but they’re not.

Indeed so. most of the Spartans that were made, including the Spartan II’s kicked the bucket. when the elites sided with the humans that’s when Truth’s decision to replace them came back and bit him in the butt.

Honestly, if it came down to it, I’d be fine with only getting to use the Storm armor set if it was too much trouble to make more sets to use.

Would love to see a Sangheili focused Halo game. Have been hoping for one for sometime, but I doubt it will happen with 343 focusing on Spartans.

I doubt it myself, after all they want you to do it all on your Spartan, for your Spartan Profile, Spartan Abilities, Spartan Mountain Dew!

Just curious, what would Elite Mountain Dew look like? (It would be a tricky yet awsome design if done correctly.)
“The Drinks all species can depend on, Mountain Dew!”

More importantly, what flavor would be most appropriate?
I cast my vote for Black Cherry.

Remember the dark knight mountain due flavor. I choose that one. Also elites are the best ill miss them in MP.
this whole elite business reminds me of bryan cranston in Godzilla except with the arbiter. They play the arbiter up big and make a huge deal of him being in the game in the commercials and then the first thing they do with the actual game is cut him and every elite out of any major role. And say “yeah he’s really not that big of a deal” and us fans of elites and the arbiter are left knowing our favorite part was just a tease.
I’m tired of master chief at this point. He had his story I thought it would be about agent locke which would be a fresh new perspective, but nope, even his spotlight was taken because it’s all about the chief.
And speaking of the arbiter what about his story? Somehow him becoming a supreme commander is of little importance. His ongoing battle with oni and the storm covenant is miniscule. His battle with the forerunners and possibly master chief isn’t important. From enemy to ally to possible enemy again. Buuutttt nope.
All Spartans all the time is the worst call I think. I don’t want to be or fight only humans. The forerunner soldiers look close enough to human why can’t they be playable? Elites were in every halo except 1 and 4 and that variation separated halo from other sci-fi shooters. When in MP couldn’t care less about lore. Lore is for campaign. MP is for fun.

Good for you but I prefer not having to play as Elites, Spartans only and all the time is good for me just the way I like it.

So you basically have nothing to input… You already got what you wanted, and you already get to play as a Spartan 24/7 like in Halo 4. Cheers.

Pretty much I don’t like being forced to play as an Elite so that is my input I don’t want to play as an Elite in campaign or matchmaking. So I don’t want any added Elite slayer playlists or the like the only time I didn’t mind Elites was in Reach for Invasion but even then I still hated being forced to play as Elites during that game mode I only liked playing as a Spartan.
playable elites in halo 5 definetly
Also I wonder how the Arbiter feels about this whole freaking HUMAN DESTINY!! Because his people worshiped them and the humans had 0 idea about them and it must really really sting to know that humanity was the chosen race after all. That all your hacked technology just opens up and works better for humanity., that has to really hurt. But knowing the Arbiter he will fight against the howl of the universe and I think he wouldn’t take that “Humans only” rule as his only answer he’d fight against what Destiny held for him and his people.

No one has ever been forced to play as an elite in MP except in reach when you switch back and forth in invasion. You could just not play invasion, so what are you talking about? That is still not valid input. Did you hate every Halo 2 mission when you played as the Arbiter? Did you hate coop in Halo 3? You must not like halo very much considering the huge role the Sangheili have in the lore. All I hear from you is “I don’t want to play a dino.” If that’s the only answer you can come up with then don’t bother giving your input here please.
