> Well, crap, Frank O’Connor has just answer us (at least he did answer) no Elites, guys, and it seems it was the “we didn’t have resources to do so” excuse.
> Now what?
> I will not skip H5, at least the campaigns have never disappointed me (hope this won’t be the first one) but under the recent circumstances (plus the statue is kind of lame compared with the last ones) I’m definitely not buying the Collector’s edition, we can still pressing them to add them as DLC later, and as for the multiplayer I propose that everyone who is not skipping H5 use the Helioskrill armor (pity that TMCC does not allow customization and it’s multiplayer still broken).
Link to the word of God please.
However if the word of God has spoken and well I like Frank O’conner as he holds the Bibles for the lore. I’m sure the campaign will be amazing and the story breathtaking. And hey we’ve got Halo Online coming to us with our pretty babies too. Also I’ve figured out what the Sangheili community is going through at this time… some weird form of the stages of Grief. We all skipped Denial (at least I hope we did), Some are still in anger, We all hopefully passed through Depression, and now (I am at least) most of us are in the Bargaining/Acceptance stage.

And no, I will not lower to play Halo Online, I f-u-c-k-i-n-g paid $400 bucks for a console, I have no more money and unless they buy me a PC that could endure Halo Online, I will not give them more money if is not for playable Elites.
I can see them coming back as DLC later on. I think it would be like Reach, were they were separated from Spartans (except in Customs) and would have their own games in matchmaking where everyone becomes and Elite. Let’s hope that 343 realizes how much we want this and that they can bring them back without tipping the game’s balance.

I dunno, I don’t really know how Halo 5’s engine works. If that’s what you meant.

Yes, it is. One option I’m not particularly fond of. And we have no idea if it won’t just be the same excuse with Halo 6.

By this point, I think 343 realizes how much we want this, but don’t give a damn. It’s a bigger insult that the game takes place on Sanghelios and features the Arbiter.

A simple acknowledgement to this mega thread would be nice.

I really can’t blame 343 for this, for starters because they are another Microsoft shell company. That being said, they probably dropped it simply because they don’t feel like copying the ragdolls from the “Sangheili” folder to the “char” folder and spending half an hour changing the hud, simply because they’re more focused on profit than player satisfaction, because let’s be honest here, most people mad about this are still gonna buy it in the vain hope that the supposedly amazing campaign that we haven’t seen as yet makes up for their limited multiplayer. That and the fact that most people here are halo addicts and will buy it just because “it’s halo”. If you wanted to make an impact, just don’t buy it and instead get your lore from some youtuber who gets paid to stream it for you and probably got it free as a promo anyway.
i have no feelings but disappointment, and the fact that they dont care for the players and only do this for profit they would probably make so much more money if they listened to the players in these forums cause ive seen so many things that got a lot of people interested such as different customization options, playable elites, and so much more and its kind of sad that they give up all that profit by not listening to their fans even a little bit more than they already do (which from what i know is not very much)
