Unless they fully planned for Warzone to feature playable Elites at E3, but needed to scrap them at the last minute for technical reasons, there’s ZERO reason to tell everyone this way…
WHY make everyone believe it was possible all the way until AFTER E3?

Maybe Sangheili will be in an update once Halo 5 is released.

For now it’s only for the Russians.
This is just ignorance on 343, guess it was not part of their “vision” for halo. This is no doubt the biggest request on the forums, possibly the most requested feature since it was revealed elites would not be in halo 4.

Hell, do not give up now, I didn’t pay 400 bucks for a console just to end playing on a -Yoinking!- PC. We could begin a collect ala Kickstarter, so they would not be able to tell us that it was because “they did not had time”, or we can bomb them on their personal twitters with our request, then they should answer something. #BringBackElites
We have waited and have asked for Elites in Halo 5 for 3 years, and still they ignore us. These are dark days ahead of us, very dark days, and now we must strike back. Spread our cause! This is -Yoinking!- ridiculous, how long did people beg for Elites to return? I don’t want to act like 343i owe us anything, but what the -Yoink-! People like playing as Elites, a huge portion of the community in fact, they were a reason Halo 3 Machinimas were so amazing and good for telling stories. If it’s a balancing issue there must be someway to work around it, taking them out completely should be the last option considered. This has really put me in a bad mood, I was very excited for Halo 5 after E3 and seeing some Warzone gameplay, but this has really f***** me off. I was really looking forward to making machinimas in Halo 5, but now I’m not keen at all. I wouldn’t even mind if they replaced elites with promethean variants, but out right taking another species out completely is so stupid, they would have made so many people happy if they put them into the game. A -Yoink!- shame.
I’m honestly glad elites have returned.

How dare you defend Elites. Moving your reticle 1 cm up to kill an alien is unbalanced even if he has to aim 1 cm down. Even if a Spartan could just jump and made you miss the headshot. The Spartan is always balanced. The Elite can never be. LMAO.
Machinimas in halo 5 had potentials. No Elites confirmed, aka they are mostly dead but they’ll be better than halo 4 ones, which were nonexistent.
Well I’m not buying halo 5. And no its not just because of no elites. All their decisions have made me mad and the beta was meh at best
I remember a year or two ago when I asked an important question to 343I regarding elites being returned in multiplayer and campaign. They said they had plans which caught everyone’s attention and made people curious. Now however I can only feel that knife stuck to my back after all this time…

Decisions like this makes me happy that I didn’t buy an Xbox 1. 343 has Completely butchered this new trilogy and after all the issues i heard about MCC they wont be getting another penny from me.
