Sangheili are the reason I got into halo.
I usually stick up for 343. But I mean this feature has been shown so much love and the requests for it to be back are so much, that it is just ignorant of 343 not to include elites to playable at this point.

Did anyone see the E3 Dail xbox Q and A with Josh Holmes? Major Nelson was reading twitter questions and on said: “Does this mean player vs player as aliens?” And he read it “Player vs player vs aliens”! We were so close to getting an answer and he ruined it!

Boys and Girls we are going to keep this post and dream alive! Even if we don’t get them back we’ve got the Halo Online and well we’ve got this post but yes I’m pissed that we didn’t get an answer.

‘Spartans everywhere’ has been getting stale since Reach’s campaign. Now they’re just… whatever they are now…
There’s something that I think that 343 isn’t seeing. They love Halo’s lore, yes, and they’re really fleshing out the Spartans and their abilities in Halo 5. But at their core, Spartans are humans, which you could find in just about any video game. Elites, on the other hand, can only be found it Halo. Sure, there are aliens in other games, but the Elites as they are can only be found in Halo, and that’s one of the things that makes Halo unique. Spartans are humans, and you can play as humans in almost any video game. Elites can only be played as in Halo, and nowhere else.
H2A multiplayer gave me a lot of hope that elites would be playable in halo 5, but nope, 343 had to be racist and ruin it.

Ofc, they seem to like limiting options anyways, no elites, no good armor customization, paper vehicles, no classic Invasion, Warzone maps not forgeable, forge maps so far (atleast in the beta) doesn’t compare to map makers like in new DOOM & Far Cry 4’s, I wonder what will be next ?

Honestly, I don’t think they’re that either. I’m sure they have their reasons for not having elites playable in Halo 5, doesn’t mean that won’t happen in future games though.

If it doesn’t happen in Halo 5 it won’t happen in Halo 6, just some cheap knock-off game like Halo Online at best that won’t really get any support.

They had time to work on it, and the Sangheili’s model wasn’t something that they had to work, it was not an additional effort, they already had the H5 campaign and H2A multiplayer models, the only thing they had to do was put the HUD on it and make some animations. it’s not really a hard work when you already programed the rest of the game, it won’t take more than a week IMO.

Anyone competent with coding could do it in an hour. Designing the HUD might take two.
And The only animations that would really need to be built are for assassinations.
