I can’t imagine a Halo without Sangheili.

I can’t say at this point in time. I would rather that not be the case. Maybe, if 343 put a lot of work into it, you could have an Elite model for standard multi-player (like in Halo 2 and 3), then in other playlists you can play as your 8’6" Elite model which uses all of the Elites abilities to their full potential.
Yeah!
I’ve always played as an elite!
I’m sure info on this will come soon. 343 doesn’t want to reveal all at once obviously, what fun would that be?
I’m sure they didn’t forget about the elites in multiplayer. It would probably have the same options as it did in Reach with being able to limit it to Spartans only over elites too just in case.
I think this is appropriate for the discussion.

Or they could have it like Halo 2 where the elites stand tall and are just larger targets. Maybe give elites slightly more health, not shielding like Reach, to counterbalance it.

Not a bad idea, but there is probably some technical excuse that amounts to: “we don’t have enough time” or “we didn’t want to do it”. But I really want to see that happen.
I always prefer play as an Elite, I really hope they don’t take them out!
I, personally, feel that Forerunner Prometheans or Warrior-Servants might take the place of the Sangheili in Halo 4’s multiplayer. It is possible, but anything can happen.

All those that want Sangheili in halo 4 either show your support here or place Kal’s screenshot in your file share. Sangheili pride!
I agree with the way Halo 3 did it. So you can be an elite whenever you want. Also
i’d like Brutes to be thrown into the mix.

Maybe, but I think the idea of fighting something bulky and a foot taller than you (that can move quick too) make for richer gameplay.

I think more customization and the resurgence of Elites make richer gameplay. (Spartan IVs are probably just as fast as elites.)

You most probably right there. But how about if they pulled that out of the hat?! It would stratify both camps. I would really like to see Elites just dominating in CQC while Spartans are less of a hitbox which means for Elites to aim better.

Separate sized Elite models sounds stupid -Yoink- hell.

But it’s the situational changes like you suggest that create such controversy.
This thread has my blessing.
Listen to us, 343i, you were like us once. Diehard fans of the franchise, and now you pull the strings. Don’t forget us.
I hope that halo 4 will be like the amazing halo 3 but with all the minor complications fixed. The elites in halo 3 blended so well, why couldn’t they do it again?
I much prefer it the way it is now. Elites just look so much more badass in Reach than they did in Halo 2 and 3. Squishing those humongous dinosaurs into human sized hitboxes just does them a disservice.
