Regardless of the reason. if it makes them playable then they should let them in.

It could easily fit into canon- The Swords of Sanghelios could easily train alongside their Spartan-IV counterparts.

I need my elites!!!

It’s hard to explain, but randomly seeing Elites in a match gives matches a less repetitive feeling… Of course, you are still being thrown into an arena to destroy each other in every mode, that’s not changing much, but when there are different silhouettes occupying that competition every time, it just feels less robotic or contrived, to me, and Halo should always feel that way. Adding that feature to Halo 2 was not a bad development decision.

Halo doesn’t need gimmicks and special abilities to stay fresh, it needs Elites! I feel that if they could make the time, (even with Halo 2’s hurried development) so can Halo 5. I think it’s worth it.

Quite true, the game most certainly needs more dynamism to it.Their exclusion has not done any good to the game and introducing Sangheili in Halo 5:Guardians won’t do it any harm either,in fact it’ll please quite a few people. So there really isn’t any excuse or reason not to do it,I don’t mind them pushing back the release date a tad just to finish up on the details and add a few components.

Its been how many years since Halo 4, and with the addition of the MCC with playable elites in there, I really don’t see an excuse for 343i to not include the sangheili this round.

Agreed, ntot o mention I heard somewhere that the UNSC and the Elites agreed on having joint training sessions.

This is very true. Though I think the multiplayer should be separate from cannon

Anyone keeping up with “Hunt the Truth” ?

And does anything think it might be possible for Ben to meet up with a Sangheili?

Haha… that’s the 2nd best part of having elites in Multiplayer.

Even then, in the comics, Spartan IVs were fighting against Covenant in War Games. Though, those Covenant guys were just part of the simulation…
But still, simulation Elites or Sword of Sangheilios Elites participating in War Games… there’s enough canon stuff here to allow them in.

Maybe but ONI wants the whole Chief is the savior of humanity thing not the whole he was abducted as a kid and turned into and genetically augmented cyborg that can kill a man with a single punch so they may talk to an elite but ONI wouldn’t be able to control what they say so it could mess up there whole chief was just born like that thing.

Your right but I don’t see the need for MP to be fully cannon anyways. More characters and species in MP is more fun.

Man I remember when this thread was originally started… But ELITES FOR HALO 5

Hopefully 343 will have an Elite armory similar to Halo 3’s in Guardians.

Exactly

Agreed can’t see why it cant It’s one of the best ways to get Halo back up and running to an extent.
