Yep, that was it. I was trying to search for it earlier but couldn’t remember who said it. Hopefully that means something good.

Indeed, fingers crossed, this looks somewhat promising at the very least.I hope 343i knows of our displeasure about the absence of playable Sangheili in Halo 4,and will take action to rectify this in Halo 5:Guardians.

Not gonna lie, that’s a great sign. Or possibly the most misleading thing ever.
Well, we won’t have to wait long to find out more details, according to Bonnie Ross’s statement. It’s 2015 already and she did say that we will get more information early this year. I would assume that the information will be released after the end of the beta.

Or maybe Spartans offering a high five and Elite looking confused.
Having Sangheili or not will heavily influence weither I buy the game or not. I’m really starting to get annoyed about 343 using “Spartan” as a prefix. “Spartan Hub” “Spartan Rank” “Spartan Ops” You get the point.
I also hate how they kept saying “Your Spartan” during the unveiling of the beta. It’s almost like 343 is pretending the Sangheili community does not exist.
But they definitely need to bring back Sangheili. Removing them was one of the major downfalls of the series as of recently.

Indeed. Halo 4 was the least played game out of all the Halo games.
DUKEOFZILLACOST here now we all must face it Halo4 lacked in success do to the Spartan based multiplayer Sangheili is a must for multiplayer in all forms Sangheili are apart of halo from the beginning they stood as the deadly adversary on the battlefield on legendary and the ability to become one is one of the most treasured parts of halo that makes halo unique many people lost faith in halo do to the mistake of losing Sangheili in multiplayer I fear if the same mistake is made many people will leave the halo community because without Sangheili it’s not the same Halo we all grew up with and came to love the Sangheili deserve as much treatment as Spartans.

I Agree. Anyone who says that balancing is the issue have not tried to come up with a solution that is win/win.

Frankly I never wanted to say it, but that is the thing that concerns me. Humanizing Halo. In a addition to the lazy trends games with multiple races have made I have on mind at the moment. And most importantly, the likes of some “pro” players always choosing a Spartan back in the Halo 2 and 3 days, or at least the ones I had the misfortune of playing with. The ones I’m talking about, talked and complained about how much easier it is to be shot in the head as an elite than a Spartan.
I have a terrible feeling the elites won’t be playable in Halo 5 for canon reasons again, humanizing Halo, the work involved may be too much and to cater to the “pro” players.
(@ Canon)Heck even in training it’d help a lot to have experience in taking out big baddies like them. What better way to do learn than with friendlies? And of course other than live combat.
Now the part about “Humanizing Halo” is just about exactly how it sounds because of what they are aiming to do with Master Chief (to show HE IS NOT A ROBOT!). While the UNSC side of this does need some much needed attention, I don’t think they need to go give them all of it for that sake or at least to such a degree in Halo 4 this time in Halo 5.
I’m not sure whether or not this has been brought up on this massive post before, so apologies if it has been.
I’ve seen a lot people say how having Sangheili present in the War Games would not fit in with the game’s story. I think this depends on how heavy an influence the Swords of Sanghelios (Arby’s faction) has in the story, and how closely they work with the humans. If the Arbiter secures some kind of alliance with the UNSC, it’s possible that certain Sangheili would gain access to the simulator. This makes sense, since it would prepare the Spartan IVs to fight the Storm Covenant.
If Elites are not present as playable characters in Halo 5: Guardians, then I’m going to buy the game used so that I do not have to support a developer that ignores such a passionate part of it’s community.
If anything, IF the elites make a comeback in H5 I don’t think its going to be just war games. After all the galaxy in Halo had a brief lull in the fighting, and the way the Storm has developed the fight for Sangheilos should be the beginning.
The War games should be over, now its time for the real thing, pick a side you know. Hopefully there will be more of a cooperative fire fight or something.
