There is some very clear favoritism going on. 343’s desire to make everything ‘Spartan’ really shuts out the possibility for ANY other species in MP, and that attitude hasn’t changed in the slightest with Halo 5… So yes, the posts in this thread are becoming slightly more zealous.
Like I said, the whole Spartan thing is like a bad mountain dew commercial, repeated over and over.

The immense criticism and flak Halo 4 drew leads me to believe that 343i will do their utmost best to please the community and ensure Halo 5:Guardians’ success and to safeguard the continuity of the Halo franchise.Despite what seems to be a pure Spartan outlook on the MM it still is possible Sangheili will be available in Halo 5.Keeping my fingers crossed that they will be.And don’t forget the appearance of playable Sangheili in Halo 2 was a surprise,but I doubt 343i will be pulling off a stunt like that just yet.If Sangheili player models are to be included in Halo 5 I think 343i will be upfront about it in its announcement of said player models.

Agreed. The word ‘spartan’ is being thrown around so much, it’s cringe worthy for a Sangheili player such as myself. “Spartan ops”, “Spartan Hub” and “Spartan rank”? Seriously? It almost seems as if 343I is trying to shove all this spartan crap down our throats.

Its still a beta right now. But lets hope 343 is listening and actually can show that they have not forgotten about us.
Also to 343, we will not accept substitutes.
It’s weird to think that this thread is more than likely gonna hit the almighty 500th page before Halo 5’s release.
If we don’t get Elites than 343 may very well be staring down a 1000 page thread by Halo 6.
Only way 343i can shut this thread down is if they remove it completely.

I do find the whole, “lets be a Spart10 24/7,” getting annoying. It’s everywhere and want them back in Halo 5, but it doesn’t seem likely again. They push Spartan abilities, but no hints to Sangheili abilities. I even started losing brain cells when SpartEn Ops came about.
At this point, it’s as cliche as “USA USA, Murica we dah heroes” type of movies.

No way there is going to be Sangheili exclusive abilities.Imagine the sheer amount of uproar that would cause.We already had quite a few unhappy players complaining about the advantages Sangheili possessed in Halo:Reach,with their increased health regenerating capabilities and greater speed.We can reach an equilibrium by giving them the same abilities,but making the Sangheili proportionally larger with proportional hit boxes.

There health increase wasn’t even that greater. I tested it with a friend. You survive one extra magnum bullet. It really doesn’t make a difference if you’re a skilled player. And yeah everyone I don’t think we’ll be seeing elites this time… Again…
That would suck if it did.
The only reason I played Halo 4 was to give it a chance while hoping that 343 will acknowledge the Sangheili for the next game. If it goes un-headed again, I will have to just wait till Halo 6 comes around. Till then, Killer Instinct and The Master Chief Collection will have to do.

Ah, but terrifying is where the flood comes in.
The Elite species is more complex than a simple blood thirsty race. They weren’t doing this stuff for the sake of being evil.
Still some unique gameplay could help the Elites inclusion as long as we don’t have much limitations.
