Making the elites stand tall was a bad idea. It gave bungie the excuse they wanted to take the elites out of MM because too many spartan players were complaining about elites in halo 3. If 343i is going to make them stand up straight, which I don’t recommend, they need to be sized down so they can be allowed in MM.

I suppose you’re right… by the way we’re getting close to 1k posts on this thread.
I think they look awesome standing up straight, but if them being doubled over is the price we pay to have them in MM then I will pay that price.
But it really annoys me when I’m playing a custom game and I can’t fit through some gap because the maker forgot to make it Elite-friendly, so I won’t be TOO disappointed if they are doubled over.

If they are hunched, then have it be like the sword hunch. And the news was out, nothing new on elites.

You know what, if Elites stood 8’6" in campaign and where downsized as well as Brutes for multiplayer then everyone would be happy,

Well said. It’s nice to see you post again. Another question! What’s the luckiest wraith shot you’ve ever seen? I would say that I was playing splitscreen BTB, friend shot the wraith main gun hoping for a kill, then a hog jumped up the hill and got it. double kill. ( I suck with the wraith though.)

I once shot a banshee out of the air in a wraith on invasion slayer on Boneyard. Let this be a waring to you spartans. Don’t steal our banshees!

Luckiest wraith shot was when I was playing invasion slayer on blood gulch (Or whatever its called) and I got the wraith and I fired one shot randomly toward their base and I managed to hit their tank and knock the main cannon off of it… still can remember the post game chatter about it…

I don’t share your opinion on Elites’ appearance (it was the other way around for me; I thought Halo 3 Elites looked better) but I ‘thank’ your support for Elites.

That made my day. I miss you Elites. Mainly why I play Halo instead of Halo: Reach, but there’s not too many there anymore.
14,000 views. I’m certain that a 343i member saw this thread or at least heard of it. They might not have said anything because they won’t integrate Elites into multiplayer or they have a way to do apply them that would disappoint Sangheili fans, but they don’t want to say anything about it because they don’t want to look like the bad guys and contradict what they’ve said about working hard beyond limit trying to deliver a Halo game that’s Halo to many fans.
Or…
they want to surprise us later on. Perhaps with good news that’ll blow our minds.
Anything’s a possibility and I’ve posted this in hopes you guys will take anything I said into consideration, but the fact of the matter is that this thread has been viewed over 14,000 times. If this didn’t catch 343i’s attention, damn. Until further news, let’s enjoy the success of this thread in catching eyes and having our voices heard and known. Who knows, 343i may address us in a romantic, movie scene-ish way.

That’s one way it could turn out. But in this case, we’d be the psycho-chick that wouldn’t take rejection lightly. Having that said, anything short of a “yes, we have Elites” will be enough to send us in a murder case scene, if this were one big dramatic movie. Not that I watch chick-flicks often…
