If this is what it takes for them to notice then it should be.

I hope that 343 adds elites in as playable characters in halo 5 multiplayer. Many others have explained before but since 343 could create a canon reason for red vs blue, why not say that elites are playable because they are part of the simulation? Not only that but after Halo 5 beta impressions, I’m sure 343 could create abilities that elites could have. Something like how elites maneuver side to side in halo ce.
P.S. it would be awesome to finally play as a third offical playable character in halo 5 multiplayer. If not matchmaking, have it in customs. Imagine playing as a brute. We have flood, elites, and spartans, but only spartans and elites were ever playable officially. I understand why flood doesnt belong in that category but you get my point.
Judging by the addition and mechanics of the Spartan Abilities, it seems they are still focusing on Spartan Only playability. This is sad and needs to change.
We want out Sangheili back, even if some of us hate them and want to kill them that just gives me all the more reason to want them back for canonical clan purposes.

Sadly this would make my saving up and eventual purchase for xbone useless if 343 cannot deliver playable elites in multiplayer, if this statement were true for me. But its not, I might consider just going back to x360 and play those old games since MCC is buggy and if Halo 5 has no playable elites.

I was quite displeased about that with how they completely ignored their Elite community - even after all these threads and posts begging 343i for the return of Elites (in at least a social playlist ala Halo 3).

Yeah and not only this but they will definetly lose a lot of players/costumers
I think the issue lies with how much attention 343 might potentially have to give up in order to make elites a thing in H5. It would be nothing but good if they were in H5, but I just don’t want a situation where they put development time into Elites, and end up taking that time away from something higher in the priority list, ya know? I think that we can all agree that good Spartan oriented gameplay will always take priority over playable-Elites. If we don’t see any playable Elites in the beta, then I think that might be a sign that Elites might not be a thing in H5. Beta time with Elites would be pretty crucial if they were going to be in the game right?
They have been focusing far too much on Esports when it isn’t really necessary, its good for there to be competition, but the fact that entire sections of the halo community have been neglected as a result of it is a one step forward, two steps back situation, yes its nice that the Spartans are better than before, but if it means that the Sangheili are to be forgotten completely then it isn’t worth it.
The Esports would be fine if they allowed Sangheili to be apart of it or create gametypes for the Sangheili, or INVASION!!!
Thing about E-sports its, Call of Duty kind of called Dibs on that. Halo as I always recalled was meant to make videogames FUN, not this constant mlg BS that toted around you know. Those limited moments you had on forge, or Lava Pit, or how about Zeus in Action Sack? All those stupid moments that you had, elite or not, were always there. Your friends made fun of you for being an elite and you in kind kicked their -Yoinks!-.
