Halo 5’s ADS isn’t exactly ADS, it’s more of a focus sort of deal. The sights are still projected by the visor and HUD, but they can be focused/tuned to increase accuracy.
This can also work for Elites, because their HUDs also project weapon sights and sometimes bullet trajectories.

Apparently spartans do simulate invasion in halo escalation, I also don’t see why the swords of sangheilios elites cant work the spartans on the infinity.

How would they be gimmicks? Elites are a much-loved feature that help to diversify the multiplayer suite, and the reasons for neglecting them are paper-thin at best, and downright foolish at worst. Halo 5’s multiplayer is an arbitrary simulation with obnoxious, juvenile Spartans and an atmosphere that is practically permeated with testosterone and the stench of Mountain Dew, so I really don’t think the developers are particularly interested in avoiding gimmicks anyhow.
I’d really like to see elites back in halo’s multiplayer. I mean…back to Bungie’s days there are no reason why spartan are fighting each other because it’s just for fun, it’s a game! No one cares about the reason, no one cares about the spartan simulation because for this reason elites were put off from the game! 343i please listen ours voices.
343 just show us the Elites already! damn…

I know that they’ve been hinted in Escalation before but with the Whole Spartan abilities and Helioskrill thing I’m getting worried.

Lets hope that they just want to keep us dark untill e3 2015 
I really doubt we’ll get our elites back. I’m a realist. Lol. If we do (which I highly doubt we will…) it’ll probably be the same garbage as halo reach, invasion/custom games only, and only specific sets for customization.

Elites can evade=thrust, elites can slide ,sprint and climb.The only thing they cant do is ground pound and I think that should be removed anyway.

But knowing 343 you know they won’t… but if they really wanted to add them in, canon wouldn’t be a problem actually.
In escalation Arbiter’s guys are in negotiations with the UNSC… It could be easily said that the two factions are sharing tech knowledge to each other.

I don’t actually mean the capabilities, I mean the term **Spartan-**Abilities.
Ah the fresh smell of Mountain Dew, but seriously, I think the biggest hint about no elites coming back is the fact when you log on here, it says more BS on your Spartan.
Sangheili have returned in Halo MCC, so we should be grateful for that. We may not be as fortunate in the future.

The elite were introduced for the first time in Halo 2 and since it is an anniversary version of halo 2 was obvious that 343 had to put the elite in the game. 343 has just remastered the game , but the base is always the same made by bungie . In poor words 343 has not created a game where they have entered the elite of their own free will.
