I loved being an elite in H3

If it ends up as a stopgap measure to make elite players feel good (Helioskrill), that is an EXTREMELY stupid thing to do.
How did this thread even get into the Halo 5 forum?

I leave the forum for certain number of months and it gets an overall!.
Back on topic, I really hope the Elites will be playable for Halo 5. Here is hoping it works out well.

Although I do like the armor, I don’t like the idea of this. It would be a huge loss for Elite players once more. It’s a reason for us to be concerned. Let’s enjoy our time in H2A and remain hopeful for the future guys.

it does not die til elites are confirmed playable for halo 5! even then it will most likely stay til the next halo game.
Glad to see the thread’s still up!
I feel H2A will be a great way to show 343 how much people like Elites. When they see, “hey, people don’t mind Elites”, they may make a note that Elites should be included (or at least not need to be taken out) in future titles.
The Heilioskrill armor does look nifty for a Spartan, obviously with its influences. Though I wonder what influences Sangheili armor now has from humanity, less of the smooth curves and something more “blocky” or IDK, kind of a cultural exchange would be cool.

Visors. We need Sangheili armor with visors straight from the fine designers of Lethbridge industrial. Oh and helmet attachments like antennas and torches.
343 should totally establish some third party Sangheili manufacturers that produce armor for both Sangheili and SIV use. Then we could start seeing some of the third party human manufacturers from Halo 4 design some Sangheili stuff too.
Now onto those peace negotiations. We’re not gonna get that Gravity hammer firing Rail gun Banshee unless we get an alliance going with the Jiralhanea. Someone get Hood a cup of coffee, he’s got work to do, same goes for Thel.

Its good to be back,haven’t be on in awhile.
But I must question,visors? Sangheili armor permutations never had visors outside of EVA suits,and it would seem to deviate from traditional armor designs,which would be odd.I’d like Sangheili armor to retain its original design,with some other cosmetic features added and/or altered.Since I haven’t been updated much on Halo news,do enlighten me.What we are in desperate need of however is some absolutely amazing Honor Guard armor sets with lighting effects incorporated into it,which would be a nice touch.
But given the fact that Sangheili are a very advanced race and are the highest ranking species in the Covenant save the Prophets,would they allow any outside influence on armor designs given their social and technological superiority?

We need Sangheili back forever!! Brothers as long as we stand untied 343 we see how much we need this!! That was the main factor that killed halo 4 for me… It just did not feel right… but now we rise up and fight for our kind!! Sangheili!!! I have a feeling that the new halo 2 will get more elite players as well. That campaign really showed how cool elites are! There are many ppl who have never played halo 2. This will make our numbers larger brothers!!! WORT WORT WORT
I honestly don’t think we will see Sangheili in the beta. That’s how it was in Halo 3’s beta, and Halo 3 was the high point for Elite players. This lack of exclusive armor for Elites via the MCC shouldn’t deter us.
